Holiday Training This camp will generally kick-off our season. It is a fun camp for our riders that runs from December 26-28, 2011. We focus on skill and park etiquette. It is a great opportunity for new riders to try their hand at hits and rails. I realize that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of these sports. I agree, as a condition of being allowed to use the ski area facility and premises, that I freely accept and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury or death or property damage, and release 49º North Ski Area, the Wintersports Foundation and their agents, employees director, officers and shareholders from any and all liability for personal injury or property damage which results in any way from negligence, condition on or about the premises and facilities, the operations of the ski area including, but not limited to, grooming, snow making, ski lift operations, actions or omissions of employees or agents of the area, or my participation in skiing of other activities at the area, accepting myself, the full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury of any kind which may result. Consent to medical treatment of minors I hereby authorize any duly authorized doctor, emergency medical technician registered ski patroller, hospital or other medical facility to treat any minors that are listed, for the purpose of attempting to treat or relieve any injuries received while being transported to or from 49º NORTH SKI AREA or while at 49 DEGREES NORTH SKI AREA. I authorize any licensed physician to perform any procedure which he/she may encounter during any necessary operation. I consent to the administration of anesthesia as deemed advisable by any licensed physician. I realize and appreciate that there is a possibility of complication and unforeseen consequences in any medical treatment, and I assume any such risk on the behalf of myself and said minor. I acknowledge that no warranty is being made as the result of any treatment. I also consent to, and accept full financial responsibility for, any form of emergency transportation and care deemed appropriate by 49º NORTH SKI PATROL. I, the undersigned, have read and understand 1. RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND 2. CONSENT TO MEDICAL TREATMENT OF MINORS. I am signing freely and of my own accord, realizing it is binding upon myself, my heirs and assigns, and in the event that I am signing it on behalf of any minors, that I have full authority to do so, realizing its binding effect on them as well as myself. FURTHERMORE, if I am signing on behalf of a minor I accept full responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of the minor’s participation in or travel to and from 49º NORTH SKI AREA. I also agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Chewelah Basin Ski Corporation and the Wintersports Foundation and their directors and officers for claims brought by or on behalf of the minor. We are offering a 2 1/2 month camp for both skiers and riders. Coaching sessions take place every Saturday, with opportu- nities to attend area wide competitions for those who are interested. Our training program will include skiercross/ boardercross, park/pipe, all mountain skiing/ riding, and gate training for slalom and giant slalom. This program is for intermediate boarders and skiers 7 years of age or older.
