Biffi can provide a complete range of double acting and spring-return pneumaticlinear actuators “PLA” and "PLAS". These actuators can use the same cylinders.The spring module can be mounted direct for "spring rto close" action or reversedfor "spring to open" action.

Due to the large range of combinations "thrust-stroke" required for the variousapplications (i.e. gate valve low pressure / high pressure, globe valve lowpressure / high pressure, spring action), please contact the Factory in order toobtain the right actuator design for your application.

Biffi provides a complete range of manual overrides for linearactuators "PLA" / "PLAS":

Jackscrew manual overridefor double acting function -MSJ

Derived from the "MSJ" used on "ALGA" quarter-turn actuators, it can be engaged by handlever.

Jackscrew manual overridefor spring return function MHW

Derived from "MHW" used on "ALGAS" actuators. For larges units an additional gear is also provided.
