Parish News Ministry Sunday: A sincere thanks to all who participated in the Ministry Sunday last weekend. It was a great celebration of our parish family as we are called to be participants and not spectators of the faith! Thanks to the Knight of Columbus for the coffee & donuts, and later, the hot dogs! Let’s let our faith shine in our good works. Building Project Collection: Thanks to all who have donated to the annual collection that will be used for reconditioning the parish hall. If you have not received an envelope, there are donation envelops at each of the church entrances. Thank you for your generosity to this annual collection! Second Collection: The second collection is for The Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Thank you for your generosity. Twenty Third Annual Fall Scholarship Dinner: Formerly known

as The St. Mary’s Education Fund, will be held at White’s of

Westport on Thursday evening, October 26th. The proceeds of the Annual

dinner assist the Diocese in meeting the ever-increasing demand for “need-

based” scholarships (approximately 1,100 students were helped in the most

recent year) for students wishing to attend one of the 19 Catholic

elementary and middle schools in the Diocese. If you are interested in

sponsoring, attending, or advertising at this event, or wish to make a

donation to the Fund, or want more information, please visit the website

All Saints: All Saints Day is a holy day of obligation. To commemorate this solemn feast, November 1, we will have two bilingual Masses. 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

St. Peregrine Novena for those suffering with Cancer

“Disciples with Mary” will be hosting a Novena to St. Peregrine Patron Saint for people suffering from cancer. Join us every Saturday beginning on October 21 until December 16, in the Chapel starting at 9:00 AM.

New Altar Servers We are beginning a new class for boys and girls who want to be altar servers. Requirements: Received your First Communion, enrolled in Faith Formation Program or attend Catholic School, and go to Mass on the Weekend. Must attend (1) class: Oct. 23 or 28 or 29. Flyers are at the entrances of the church with more details. If you have any questions talk to Fr. Pregana.
