Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. Various inspection techniques could be employed for product testing which range from raw material to in-service damage inspection. Specific techniques are applied to different materials to assess cracking corrosion, fatigue and erosion/wear or heat damage. What is Non Destructive Testing?Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is the process of inspecting, testing or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system.
