Namma Metro project
Namma Metro also known as Bangalore Metro is a metro system for the city ofBangalore, Karnataka, India. The agency responsible for its implementation is the
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL), a joint venture of the Government ofIndia and the Government of Karnataka. The first stretch between Baiyyappanahalli andM.G. Road was inaugurated on 20 October 2011.
Project Scope Statement
Project name : Namma metro project phase1
Project manager : N. Sivasailam was the managing director and the StateGovernment removed N Sivasailam as MD of Namma Metro on 10 August 2013.He was replaced by Pradeep Singh Kharola.
Project goal and objective : The main objective of the namma metro projectis to provide mass rapid transit services to people.

Till today they have only completed the reach-1 of the project .so this is the onlymilestone for this project

Assumption and constraints:
Constraints: Allowing free flow of vehicular traffic on the already congestedalong with chosen alignment, Paucity availability of land, Problems topedestrians, Problems to existing residents.
Assumption: First assumption was that the project was scheduled to start in2005 but was delayed by a February 2006 due to change of government inKarnataka and continued debate over whether the project was financiallyfeasible and appropriate for the city. The cost for the phase 1 was assumed tobe INR 54 billion and later revised to INR 116 billion.
Phase I spans a length of 42.3 km and consists of 2 lines: Implementation ofPhase I has been divided into 4 "reaches" and 2 underground sections. Theschedule for completion of Phase I is assumed as follows:
