Our national headquarters in Melbourne stock components and assemble helical / bevel helical gear units up to 130kNm in output torque. In addition, we stock components and

assemble planetary gear units up to 185kNm. We also provide servicing for these same gear units.

Our operations in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth are all equipped to assemble gear units on to drive bases and to service gear units. All branches have qualified engineers to assist in all areas of technical support.

Power, quality and sturdy design combined in on standard product range: Industrial gear units are available as standardized units offering a high degree of customization due to their modular concept. Available as a stand-alone gear unit or integrated into a complete drive package, our industrial gear range can be operated under difficult conditions and provide movement wherever high torque demand and maximum reliability are required. EBD – Extended Bearing DistanceMore efficiency for mixing and agitating applications– Consists of add-on components (such as stronger bearings), a larger diameter output shaft and an extended bottom bearing housing– Additional housing effectively increases the distance between the top and bottom bearings, adding strength and rigidity to the total unit– Suitable for agitators, mixers, aerators, dry-cooling towers or thickeners– Can also incorporate a drywell sealing system to prevent oil leakage at the output shaft in vertical mounting positions– Torque range of 16 – 48 kNm

RX and R series helical gear units and gearmotorsIn line helical gear units offer optimum performance, minimizing space requirements due to fine graduation variety of torque ratings.

Standard gear units and gearmotors

To solve your drive task, gear units and gearmotors from SEW-EURODRIVE are available in numerous sizes and reduction ratios. They transmit power either in axial, parallel or with right angle power flow direction. Torque and permissible overhung loads are incomparably high in relation to the structural volume of the gear unit. This is made possible by the compact and extremely rigid housing with its low weight and optimum magnetic flux flow. The sealing surfaces are not subject to any load pressure as the force flows through the single piece housing. Your benefit: reliable gearmotor system with a long service life.

F series parallel shaft helical gear units and gearmotorsExtra-slim parallel shaft helical gearmotors for use where space is limited.
