I. SERIOUS BUSINESS

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.

Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to

everyone in the house.

BUT HOW can we have an ALIVE FAITH FOR THE 21st

CENTURY?

1. BY KNOWING JESUS INTIMATELY, passionately,

powerfully

2 Timothy 1:12 (NKJV) 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed

and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to

Him until that Day.

IN GOD’s ARMY

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against

principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the

darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in

the heavenly places.

flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities

STAND UP, STAND UP FOR JESUS.

III. YOU ARE CALLED TO BE RELEASED IN

SPIRITUAL CONFIDENCE!

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun

a good work in you will complete it until the day of

Jesus Christ;

that the God who started this great work in you would keep

at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very

day Christ Jesus appears.
