Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression

from it to the full product?Looking back at my preliminary task, I definitely feel like I have learnt a lot in the progression from it to the full product.

From my preliminary task to the full product I have learnt a lot about how I have advanced in using Photoshop such has editing the photo, creating effects and colour. I have also learnt a lot about the conventions of the magazine and how to make these conventions look really professional and appealing for my target audience.

In the progression from the preliminary task to the full product is how to draw the audience's attention such as doing more research and planning so I would have a good idea of what cover lines to use and how to present them.

I have also shown how to take on more experiments with the colour, texture of the fonts, and how much to put onto the magazine because in my preliminary task I was quite basic with the representation of convention where as in the full product I have used a lot in colour with the masthead, cover lines and the photographs as I have used the location in my background.

The progression I have made from the preliminary task to the full product is that I have spent more time into planning and trying out different tools on Photoshop to see what I could so to the full product to make it better than the preliminary task which meant I had to be more creative and original with my ideas and I took on with the feedback from the research I got.

Preliminary Task Full Product

Overall, I think the main thing I have learnt the most in the progression from my preliminary task to my full product is learning about the technologies such as Photoshop and InDesign because when I did my preliminary task I did not know anything about these software’s and as time went on, I experimented more and picked up more skills which helped me create my full product to a good standard that I made successful and it gave the message of who the audience are and what type of magazine it because of the conventions I used. All the research, planning and skills development helped me achieve this progression for the full product.
