MAIN TASKPRELIMINARY TASK

The bottom left of my page on preliminary has been greatly focused, as my music magazine does too but it has much more of a full appearance compared to my preliminary

• My skills on Photoshop have improved a great deal, purely because I managed my time more efficiently which enabled me to spend time on the processes which needed attention to detail. I feel that I did not spend a great deal of time taking a variety of photo’s which would be most suitable for the front cover whereas it took a longer period of time to find the ‘perfect’ image to satisfy my target audience on my music based magazine. Not only have I improved on the physical photoshoot process, but the manipulation of the photos on Photoshop with editing the photos to the best of my ability and creativity.

• My ideas have stemmed from my preliminary task, as it was a school based magazine, I could not express myself in ways I could when creating the music based magazine as it showed much more representation to a specific genre, theme and house style.

• I felt that my target audience research was good for my preliminary task, whereas it was much more specific and detailed when creating my music magazine, as it focused on a specific set of people and gender.

• Another key area was my mast head on my preliminary magazine, it did not really grab my attention’s audience as it could have as I felt I over used the bevel and emboss effect which made it less out of focused. My main task shows a large, eye catching font which is what is expected!
