KTI HQ Now Nestles In Kohinoor Education ComplexThe long awaited shifting of the Kohinoor

Technical Institute Headquarters (KTI HQ) to Kohinoor Education Complex in Kohinoor City took place on 30 Oct. With KTI poised for a growth trajectory in the wake of Skill India Mission, it was but a natural consequence that the headquarters had to be shifted to a larger, more contemporary, better equipped office. The modern office with bright enlivening colours has been designed by Kohinoor Real Estate VP-MEP Sudesh Bhelekar along with his team and Alpa Shikre of SSA (architects), ably supported by Nandini from Paramount Vision (creative and design agency). Caricatures of the staff members at their work stations added a funky touch to the modern office.

Inaugurating the new premises, Kohinoor CMD Unmesh Joshi said that today he felt like a father who was sending his daughter to her new home as a newly wed bride. He had mixed feelings of joy at the prospect of his daughter leaving her parental home for her growth, happiness and prosperity marked with a tinge of regret that she would now be away from him. KTI CEO & Director Sameer Joshi profusely thanked CMD Unmesh Joshi and all the personnel who had made the new office possible through their contribution and dedicated services, and renewed his commitment for the coming year.

Celebration Blends With Education In Kohinoor Blossoms And Kohinoor International School

Festivals are not just an occasion to celebrate and make merry in Kohinoor Blossoms and Kohinoor International School. These are looked upon as

opportunities to educate children about the significance of Indian festivals and inculcate in them good traditional values at a young impressionable age. At the same time, the teachers also sow the seeds of social consciousness and awareness in the young minds of the students.

Navratri What better way to educate children than by actual demonstration? The

Kohinoor Blossoms ladies dressed up in the nine different colours of Navratri and visited each class. They explained the importance of this festival and the significance of Goddess Durga being dressed up in nine different colours, each day of Navratri (nine nights), to depict her nine incarnations. The children were also told which unique characteristic or quality of the goddess each colour represents.

Traditional garba with the teachers and children dressed up in festive finery provided the merriment factor. Visual memory being the strongest, the tiny tots were given an audiovisual presentation on the various forms of Goddess Durga.

Don’t Light Crackers-Light a Smile this Deepavali was the message sent out strong and clear to all the children.

Deepali Nene, Principal (Primary Section) – Kohinoor International

Kohinoor Continental Lights Up Divali Smiles On the Faces Of Snehasadan Children

Contributed by Team Kohinoor Continental

Contributed by Eban Solomon, Kohinoor Group

Kohinoor Continental believes in celebrating Divali by lighting up smiles of the faces of the children of Snehasadan, an NGO which reaches out to

homeless children. Every Divali, the children are invited to the hotel and entertained as valued guests. This year, the children were escorted to Kohinoor Continental on Bhaubeez and treated to a delightful celebration. There were around 45 children from 5-15 years. There was a magic show, fun and games, and of course, sumptuous food. The children were also given parting gifts. The excitement and happiness on the faces of the children is in itself a highly satisfying reward for the management and staff of Kohinoor Continental. These children do not have anyone from their family to call their own. Making them happy, especially during the festival of lights, is highly gratifying and something the hotel looks forward to.

Snehasadan is an NGO which keeps a lookout for streetchildren. It then tries to find out why they are on the streets, trace and reunite them with their families if possible. If not, they become a part of the Snehasadan family. The NGO does all it can to enable them to grow up as useful citizens who will build and shape the nation of tomorrow.
