Industrial Visit To 27th Convergence Of India - 2019, Delhi (31/1/2019)

The aim of this visit is to gain knowledge about smart technologies like different sensors used in

different devices, process of testing the vehicles, complete automation, virtual reality, different

types of microprocessors. It was a huge platform for electronics engineers as we came across

usage of different electronics components.

Industrial Visit To Uttam Sugar Mill (15- Mar -2018)

The aim of visit was to understand the working of a co generation plant. its procedure of making

electricity from the bi products of sugar industry. Understanding processes involved in electricity

production starting from boiler section to the substation for fulfilling the requirement of

electricity in sugar plant.

Industrial Visit To Anchor Electric Pvt. Ltd, Haridwar (20- March -2018)

To understand various process involved in manufacturing, fabrication, testing & commissioning

of micro circuit breaker (MCB) & Switches. A visit is organised by electrical & electronics

department. Students also visited the various sections of Anchor Pvt. Ltd..

Industrial Visit To Mohammadpur Hydro Power Plant (20- Mar -2018)

Hydro power plant is the one of the main sources of power generation in uttarakhand. With

objective of enhancing knowledge of students about generation process of run off type hydro

power plant .students visited the turbine section control room equipped with SCADA system . &

finally its substation .

Industrial Visit To Kapco Elctric Pvt Ltd, Noida ( 30- Aug-2018)

Transformer is the main building pock of whole power system. Several type of transformer are

used in generation, transmission , & distribution systems .The aim of visit was to understand

various processes involved in manufacturing, fabrication, testing commissioning of transformer.

Students visited the testing section of transformer in Kapco Electric.

Industrial Visit To Smart Brains Pvt Ltd, Noid (30- August -2018)

Automation is the future of technology. So with an objective to acquaint student about various

technologies involved in automation & types of software used for them a visit to smart brains pvt

ltd was organised . Students was informed by the trainer regarding scope of automation future of

automation & various job profiles associated with it.

Industrial Visit To Anu Vidyut, Roorke (27 –Oct – 2018 )

The objective of this visit was to give students a opportunity to see & understand various process

involved in manufacturing, fabrication of protection devices like earth leakage detector, flasher

relay, delay timer etc.

Industrial Visit To Uttaranchal Pulp & Paper Mills Pvt Ltd ( 06-Mar-2017 )

Atomisation of an existing industry improves its efficiency. The objective of this visit was to

show students about the automation system used in paper industry. Experts in the plant explained

the various process of paper production with its control through PLC’S.

Industrial Visit To Metro Frozen Solar Power Plant ( 08 - Jun – 2017)

Solar power plant is one of the main sources of clean energy. Metro Frozen, Chudiyala

Bhagwanpur has a Solar Power Plant with a capacity 65 MW.generation. So to understand solar

power generation and various processes involved in solar power generation a visit was organised

by department.

To see how a fully automated production plant in FMCG industry latest PLS & DCS systems a

visit was organised by department. Engineers of the plant explained the various process of

production involved in probiotic drink with its control through PLC’S .

Renewable energy is the future of world. & Solar power plant is one of the main sources of clean

energy. So to understand solar power generation and various components involved in solar power

generation a visit was organised by department to Solar Power Plant, Pathari.

Industrial Visit To Chilla Hydro Power Plant (01& 02- Nov -2017)

.Hydro power plant is the one of the main sources of power generation in uttarakhand. With

objective of enhancing knowledge of students about generation process hydro power plant a visit

was organised to chilla power plant..Students visited the turbine section control room equipped

with SCADA system & finally its substation.

Industrial Visit To PTCUL Substation, Ramnagar (30- Aug -2016)

Transmission system is the vital link between generation plant & consumers. The objective of this

visit was to given an experience about working of substations. Types of instruments used in a

substation. Engineers of the station explained the various process of fault detection operation and

maintenance of a substation.

Industrial Visit To BHEL, Haridwar (13 -14- Sep, 2016)

BHEL is the leading organisation of turbo-generator manufacturing. The visit aimed to give an

opportunity to students to see various process involved in manufacturing, fabrication, testing &

commissioning of Turbo generator. Students also visited the Fabrication section of Steam, Hydro,

Gas and Steam Turbine.
