organized 3rd National conference on Emerging Technologies in

Electrical & Electronics Engineering under TEQIP II during 29th

and 30th , Jan 2016.14 papers are selected from various authors.

He deliver a lecture on

missile technology launching

vehicles. And, also the impor-

tance of power electronics de-

vices implemented in space

crafts .

Dr.P.V.V.Rama Rao, HOD of EEE,

mentioned that the objective of this confer-

ence is to develop a preliminary insight of

emerging trends in electrical and electronics

employing for the design and development

of power systems in real-time world and

extracting solutions to them is one of the

main criteria and also enhancing the talent

of youth for presenting them in the form of

papers .

A trip to DELTA PAPER MILLS

in Vendra, West Godavari district on

15/12/2015 by 81 students of III EEE-

II sem. The purpose of the Industry

visit is to know about the different

qualities of papers, practical view about

motors used in paper production, the

designing of transformers, working of

motor drives ,water purification, crush-

ing of pulp, straw purification, colours

required for Quality binding and pack-

aging units.

This is a wonderful

opportunity to explore 52 students

of II EEE-II sem students in real ex-

perience to 1000 KW Mini-hydro

power plant, Settipeta, Nidadavole

on 23/1/2016. This is a multi-

purpose power plant in which water

is used for electricity generation and

for agriculture and irrigation pur-

poses throughout the year.

IVTL info Pvt. Ltd. on campus placements drive was

conducted for IV EEE students.

All yearsof EEE,each two students participated as

volunteers in Vishnu Karting Championship.

II EEE -53 students went to Industrial Visit at AP-

GENCO, Settipeta on 23/01/2016.

II EEE-7 students are attended Robotics workshop

at SVECW.

III EEE-3 students attended AFOSEC-2016,presented a paper on “Wireless Power Trans-

mission for Solar Power Satilite” at V.R. Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada.

III EEE-2 students attended AFOSEC-2016,presented a poster on “Wireless Telecom-

munication (Vitricity)” and got 2nd Prize at V.R. Siddhartha Engineering College, BZA.

III EEE-2 students attended AFOSEC-2016, presented a paper on “ET3 Technology”.

And poster on “Magnetic Levitation Train” and got 1st prize.

II EEE-7 students attended robotics workshop in VIT, Bhimavaram on 04/02/2016.

II EEE-16 participated in GEC fest for paper and poster presentation, Gudlavalleru En-

gineering college.

III EEE-40 students attended Interaction with KAJARIA ceramics on 15.02.2016 in

SVECW.

II EEE all students attended Awareness Program on Internet of Things at SVECW

III EEE-24 students attended TECHEPOURIEA fest at Sri Vasavi Engineering College,

T.P. Gudem for Paper Presentation.

II EEE-16 students attended a workshop on “Embedded Systems” at Andhra University,

Vizag.

III EEE-4 students attending ENCURSO-2K16 and presented a poster on “Wireless

Power Transmission (WITRICITY)” at JNTUK. Kakinada.

III EEE-45 students are attending L&T Training Program from 29/02/2016 to

02/03/2016 at Pune

III EEE-9 students organized Energy Awareness Program in kovvada at ZPH School un-

der Illuminaries Association activity on 11/03/2016 .

III EEE -2 students went to K L University, Vijayawada for Paper Presentation

III EEE -4 students went to Bhapatla Engineering College for Paper Presentation

II EEE-2 students attended a Paper Presentation in Sri Venkateswara Insti-

tute of Science and Technology (VISIT), T. P. Gudem.

II EEE-2 students attended a Paper Presentation in Sir C. R. Reddy Engineer-

ing College, Eluru II EEE-2 students attended a Paper Presentation in B. V.

C. Engineering College, Odalarevu.

II EEE-2 students attended a Paper Presentation in Sasi Engineering College,

As a regular practice, Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women

organized a National Technical Women Symposium “ MedhaMilan-2k16” on 8th

& 9th, January .The technical sessions in EEE department are conducted.
