    Launching First Run WizardFor the rst time you start your Eee PC, the First Run Wizard will

    auto-launch and lead you through setting up your pre erences andsome basic in ormation. Follow the wizard instructions to nish theinitiation.

    Confguring a network connection

    Wireless network connection

    1. Press + ( +

    ) to activate the wirelessLAN unction.

    4. When connecting, you mayhave to enter a password.

    established, the connection isshown on the list.

    3. Select the wireless accesspoint you want to connectto rom the list and click Connect to build theconnection. Ensure that thebox be ore Enable wireless ischecked.

    select Network to start thecon guration.

    toggle Enable to activate this unction.3. The items on the list are available or voice command unction.

    Terminating application processes The Task Manager displays the application processes. Tweak your

    Eee PC up i it is running slow by killing the application with Task Manager.

    Follow the instructions below to teminate applications:

    1. Double click the SOS icon in the Noti cation area to displaythe running applications.

    Or, press + ( + ) directly to launch Task

    Manager.. Select an unnecessary application that uses the system

    resources and click Kill to teminate the process.

    Using Task Manager to terminate applications may causedamage to the les that the application is reading or editing.We do not recommend you use Task Manager to stop theapplications that are working on your important data. Or, back up your important data be ore using Task Manager.
