Ideology It is a group of ideas that some member of
the society use to try to archive their goals.
These ideas intend to improve their politics, economics, or philosophical problems.
Uses ideas to try to understand and change the world to a world they think its better.
Syndicalism System and ideas that pretend to lower the
power of the government and the state.
They created the “Trade Union” that works for the needs of the working class.
Protection to workers by giving them labor rights.
It is a movement mainly made by the working class
Luddism Workers movement that was against the
conditions in which they were working.
They were against the government and companies that made them work in rough conditions.
They wanted a better salaries according to the work they were doing.
They didn’t like the machines that were used in the industries
Cartism Movement made by the working class that
eventually achieved the “People’s Charte”
They argued for Universal suffrage for men Right to vote for the workers Salaries for all workers (doesn’t matter the
position) People to choose parliament members Workers to have power in the parliament All votes to have the same value
Anarchism Idea that the society wouldn’t recognize the
government, state, or capital as any type of authority
Instead of focusing in the society they fought for the individuals.
Many subdivisions of these movement were created
Were completely against the government.
Socialism Supported idea that the society works as
one and not the individuals.
Since society works as one, they supported the equality among the people
Different than Communism because they did respect the public property.
Subdivisions of Socialism that became more radical
Feminism Movement that supported equality between
the two genders.
Wanted same rights for men and women Economic Political Social
They were not against men, they just wanted equality and same opportunities.
Social Darwinism Was based on the ideas of Charles Darwin
that stated that only the strongest one survives.
Intend to apply Darwin's ideas in the society
Main goal was to create a stronger society based on the surviving of the strongest members.
Did not support the union of the different races.
