More suited for a “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” type setting, Pitbull is sure to confuse the majority of older audi- ence members and annoy younger attendees who have decent taste in music. PITBULL T.I. Ed Sheeran has become a musician to watch over the last couple years. It’s refreshing that Jazz Fest drew such a relevant and impressive pop artist. Aside from every teenage girl in America loving him, Sheeran is an astonishingly talented artist, and his showmanship is superb. Ev- eryone should it this artist in their festival schedule. ED SHEERAN HOZIER Trombone Shorty has become the face of Jazz Fest. But like Dr. John, he’s there every year. This year’s lineup is a hot bed for new and in- spiring artists, so take that into ac- count if considering spending time at his stage. HITS
