He co-founded Professional Farmers of America 38 years ago and launched Land- Owner Newsletter seven years later. Jerry must be given much of the credit for advancing biological farming. Beginning in the 1980’s he brought forward the biological pioneers, including AgriEnergy Resources’ late founder Dave Larson, to speak at Pro Farmer semi- nars. Thursday, January 27th is the day Jerry sums it all up. Jerry will share how biological farming got its roots, has grown, and will bear fruit in these times of over-priced inputs. Jerry will condense the last 30 years of farming into a presentation that sets the stage for the next 30 years! TODD CHURCHILL is a pioneer in the grass-fed beef industry and President/CEO of Thousand Hills Cattle Company. In addition to leading our Friday morning business enhancement workshop, Todd is co-leading Thursday afternoon’s Grazing breakout. Come learn how to meet the protocols he has established for THCC. REGGIE DESTREE is an Organic Production Consultant for Dramm Liquid Fish. He has over 20 years experience growing or- ganic vegetables and row crops. He is known today for his passion to help organic farmers throughout the country. Reggie will share his latest observations on organic fertility, organic pesticides and, most importantly, the cultural practices to make it all work. DICK GOFF has a degree from the University of Minnesota in horti- culture and plant pathology. He worked several years as an agrono- mist for pesticide, seed and fertilizer companies before beginning a long career as a field representative for Midwest Labs of Omaha, NE. He is now semi-retired. Dick’s many years of trouble-shooting soil conditions in the field give him an unparalleled ability to share with us “what works”. Dick will explain the importance of soil tilth … and how to get there! DOUG GUNNINK speaks throughout the country on why grass should be part of your crop rotation.
