GOLD AWARD WINNER PROFILE

CHLOE Yr 6 - Hi, my name is Chloe. I have been at GPPS since Kindie. During this time I have partici-pated in swimming carnivals, dance group, choir and PSSA Netball. I enjoy dancing, camping and cooking outside of school and my favourite subjects are maths and science. My favourite teachers have been Mrs Chaulk my year 5 teacher and Mr Corry my year 6 teacher.

PRIMARY ATHLETICS CARNIVAL The Athletics Carnival will take place Wednesday 24th June at Werrington Oval. All students in the pri-mary (years 3-6) will be involved in a series of events rotating throughout the day. All students enjoy the day as they have the opportunity to participate in many activities. We welcome all parents to come along as spectators to support your children. It prom-ises to be a fun day. Information and permission notes have already been sent out.

REGIONAL CROSS COUNTRY On Wednesday 10th June 6 Glenmore Park students represented the Penrith District at the Regional Cross Country at Castle Hill. They performed very well with the following results:- Matthew Lalor 9th in the 12 years Andrew Cotten 10th in the 12 years Siyumi Dassanayake 15th in the 11 years James Saxby 27th in the 11 years Madelaine Gillman 81st in the 12 years Johnny Smyth 76th in the 11 years

WALKATHON The total so far is $13000 – all money should have been finalised by last Friday. We will still accept late payments during this week but prizes will not be allo-cated to anyone after this Wednesday.

RUGBY LEAGUE REPORTS

On Thursday the 11th of June two teams represented our school at the Panther Trophy. The U11’s boy’s qualified for the grand final UNDE-FEATED. The scores were 42-0 defeated Crawford Public School, 20-0 defeated Tregear Public School, 32-0 defeated Holy Spirit Catholic School, 20-0 de-feated Kellyville Ridge Public School. All of the boys played very well. After all the hard work all the boys did they were very tired but there’s more football to come!!! By Jy The under 10’s had a busy day also playing three games against Lethbridge Park, Regentville and Bennett Road. Unfortunately we lost all three matches but displayed great sportsman-ship throughout the day. Special thanks to the par-ents who took time to assist with transport to and from Whalan Reserve. Your help and support is greatly appreciated!!

CARTOONIST VISIT—DAVE HACKETT A reminder that this cartooning workshop is being held at school tomorrow and Thursday for all stu-dents K-6. The cost is $5 per student. Extra permis-sion notes are available at the front office.

CAKE STALL WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE 1/2B and 1E will be operating a Cake Stall at recess time tomorrow. Please support this fundraiser by sending 50c or $1 to purchase one or two things from the stall. The parents of 1/2B and 1E have been asked to kindly donate the cakes and treats for this stall. We thank you for your efforts.
