News Children in Need
Wowee! What a busy couple of weeks ahead of us with all the Christmas festivities and what a busy couple of weeks we have had!
Through the hard work and enthusiasm of the children and the generosity of our bakers, the children raised £219.44. To do this, whilst having loads of fun dressing up is just brilliant.
Once again a particular thank you to the Primary 7s for being such responsible citizens and managing the bake sale so well.
Congratulations and thank you to the whole school community.
Reminder - Parent Interviews If you have misplaced or
forgotten your times, please get in touch with the school office to
check what time your appointment is.
If something crops up and you can’t make the appointment on the night, do give us a quick call to let us know.
Nursery Decoration Evening Christmas must be coming as
this Friday Mrs Green is doing her world famous Christmas Decorations Evening.
A great family evening (for all nursery families) of making and displaying decorations and is always enjoyed by all.
Football Football is going well and after
speaking to Mark, I can share that he is particularly impressed with the way the new players have been
playing and how they have been supported by some of the more experienced players. Great teamwork – well done all!
Netball Training Second fun 5’s Netball league
coming up this weekend, good luck and just like last time give it everything you’ve got.
Christmas Lunch Tuesday 12 DecemberThe school Christmas Lunch is on
Tuesday 12 December. There will be no sandwiches or baked tatties served on this day so if your child/children do not want the Christmas lunch please send a packed lunch from home.
Do complete and return menus by Thursday every week for the following week.
Reminder About School Car Park The school car park can be a very
busy place with both human and car traffic. I wanted to raise awareness of the speed of cars in the car park and the levels of concentration required particularly when it is darker and sometimes really quite horrid weather. Thank you for your attention on the matter as the safety of our children is paramount.

Our Primary 1-3 class enjoyed showing their parents the book bags and read, write and count bags today in class. We had a visit from Sally Walker of Orkney Library and Archive to do a wee book bug session too!
