“We have chosen the way of truth.” Psalm 119:30
Greetings Southside Family, If you are visiting with us, let me be the first to welcome you. We are so glad you chose to join us for worship today. Our prayer is that you will discover the presence of God as we worship today. We are a vi-brant church family that seeks to love God and others. I'm so grateful for the ministry and leadership of Chris Grandstaff while he has been filling in as our worship pastor. Chris has given a lot of sacrificial time behind the scenes as well. He has a great love for his Lord and the Lord's church here at Southside. As I write this article on Wednesday I've had a lot of time so far to seek the face of the Lord and ask for His wisdom and direction. Each time I've departed with a great sense of excitement and expectation of what God has in store for this local fellowship. Our CDC is up and running and we are blessed to have Melanie Wynkoop on board as our new CDC director. The CDC is going to be a great opportunity to touch the future through the lives of many chil-dren. Dr. Jerry Grandstaff will be preaching in both services today. Please pray that he has ultimate freedom to preach God's Word today. Love you church! For His Glory, Bro Stacy

Good Morning Friends, What a blessing it is to have Jerry and Chris with me this Sunday. I really enjoy having the opportunity for our family to worship together when we can. I really appreciate Bro. Stacy inviting them to fill in while he is away. Sr. Adults, don't forget your final payment for the Branson trip is due July 15th. We are in the process of making the final arrangements. Don't forget the Gordon Mote concert at Mt. Enon Baptist Church on Friday night, July 11th. The tickets are $12.00 if you would like to attend. Sr. Adults, we are going to a surprise desti-nation for dinner on Friday, July 18th. It will take us about an hour to get there. We will leave the church at 4:00 p.m. Let me know if you would like to go. Students in grades 1-5, we will have a swimming party on Tuesday night, July 29th at the McNab's house. More information will be forthcoming. Also, we will go to the movies on Wed. July 30th at 9:00 a.m. We will see the movie, 'Mr. Peabody'. The cost is $5.00, that includes your lunch. Hello Southside! I wanted to say again how grateful I am for this church family. That will never change. God is up to some great things here and will continue to move as his people seek his face and obey his leadership. I am grateful for the encouragement and support you have shown my family and I concerning the recent developments in our lives. God has shown himself faithful time and time again and I know he has a plan for us and for SBC. Thank you for loving students and supporting them. I pray this church body would continue to unite together in Christ and im-pact this community for the glory of God!
