There is so much that is false in our world – false ideas and false gods. But you and I know the truth and The Truth. I rejoice that truth is marching on. This week in our Come to the Lord’s Table devotional challenge, we will examine our hearts. Is there anything that is false – false ideas or false gods – that you have embraced. It is time to repent and cleanse your life through embracing the power of God’s grace and mercy. Last Sunday, we welcomed Ken and Carolyn Frazier, MacKenzie Porter and Daniel Panzica into our church membership. I was reminded by their coming how blessed we are at FBC Brookhaven. We are enriched by being a multi- generational church that ministers to one another and seeks to share the gospel here and around the world. Even this week, we have a mission team at Casa de Fe in Ecuador. Please pray for them as they work to help Patti Sue Arnold and her workers care for the special needs children in this haven in the jungle. Our Student Ministry is having a great summer. I was blessed by the testimonies of what God did during summer camp. Next is Super Summer for those students who have worked all year to qualify for this Discipleship/Evangelism training week. Then around the corner is our annual Disciple Now Weekend. It promises to be another spiritual highpoint in the lives of our students. Look for details coming soon and make sure your student and their friends attend. I love you in the Lord, Bro. Greg WELCOME NEW MEMBERS Ken Frazier ........................
