From My Heart to Yours
Dear Church Family,
I have just returned from Washington D.C. where I thanked our Congressman and Senators for their continued support of the US-Israel relationship. I have had the privilege of partnering for 9 years with 17,600 Jews from across America and 400 Christians leaders to encourage and strengthen this vital relationship between our countries. The state of Israel is more than a modern miracle, it is an ancient miracle as well. The Jewish people have a unique place in our salvation history, and we pray for the day that “all of Israel will be saved.” That is God’s work. Our work is to support them and love them. I will be sharing more about this from God’s Word this morning.
Tonight, I will bring a multi-media presentation of my recent mission trip. We will not be broadcast so that I can speak in detail about what God is doing in that part of the world. It has deepened further my love for and commitment to our International Missionaries, especially those serving in this area. I hope you will join me in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00 p.m.
I am so grateful that the Lord added to our church again this past Sunday. We welcomed Bill Allbritton into our membership. You will enjoy serving the Lord with Bill. Who will you invite to join you next Sunday at church, Rock Solid or a Sunday School class? There is always room for one more!
I also appreciate Dr. Steve Jackson for preaching in my absence last week. He is a gifted servant of the Lord and has blessed our Lincoln Association and our church with his leadership and preaching. I thank you for encouraging him when he comes to preach. Also, this afternoon and Tuesday we will host Associational and State Bible Drills. Thank you, parents for leading your children to participate in this powerful program.
May Christ Dwell In Our Hearts, Bro. Greg

County-wide Youth Night This Wednesday, April 3rd, 6:00 p.m. (gates open at 4:30 p.m.)
Meet at the Lincoln County Civic Center Special guest Bryant Bush and Jasmine Murray
Dear brothers and sisters,
1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let
nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
Standing firm is only possible when we do so in the light of victory. A
steadfast posi'on is only possible by the knowledge that we don’t fight
our ba)les and the wars we perceive ourselves to be in have already
been won by Christ Jesus. We are victorious because Jesus is victorious.
Not only do we have the assurance that our eternity is secure; we have
the assurance that even the ba)les we have with our own flesh are won.
One does not stand firm with their face down in defeat. This is not the
posture of a believer. Scripture is replete with encouragements for the
children of God to “li1 your head”. A victorious person looks straight on
into tempta'on and trial with the faithfulness that God has given us
everything we need in this life to be victorious. The ba)le is won.
I love you all more than you know!
Pastor Nick
