From My Heart to Yours Dear Church Family, I have just returned from Washington D.C. where I thanked our Congressman and Senators for their continued support of the US-Israel relationship. I have had the privilege of partnering for 9 years with 17,600 Jews from across America and 400 Christians leaders to encourage and strengthen this vital relationship between our countries. The state of Israel is more than a modern miracle, it is an ancient miracle as well. The Jewish people have a unique place in our salvation history, and we pray for the day that “all of Israel will be saved.” That is God’s work. Our work is to support them and love them. I will be sharing more about this from God’s Word this morning. Tonight, I will bring a multi-media presentation of my recent mission trip. We will not be broadcast so that I can speak in detail about what God is doing in that part of the world. It has deepened further my love for and commitment to our International Missionaries, especially those serving in this area. I hope you will join me in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00 p.m. I am so grateful that the Lord added to our church again this past Sunday. We welcomed Bill Allbritton into our membership. You will enjoy serving the Lord with Bill. Who will you invite to join you next Sunday at church, Rock Solid or a Sunday School class? There is always room for one more! I also appreciate Dr. Steve Jackson for preaching in my absence last week. He is a gifted servant of the Lord and has blessed our Lincoln Association and our church with his leadership and preaching. I thank you for encouraging him when he comes to preach. Also, this afternoon and Tuesday we will host Associational and State Bible Drills.
