EUROPEAN FREERIDE FESTIVAL European Freeride Festival (EFF) combines sports and

entertainment on an unprecedent level, a groundbreaking format in the international snow events scenario.

‘Freeriding for All’ the event claim: ski, snowboard, telemark, ski-alp, splitboard with several activities for both experienced athletes and beginners.

EFF participants: for the first edition approx 700/800 registered participants are expected (60% from Italy, 40% from Europe)

Target group: 70% male; age group: 25-50 years old.

LIVIGNO ‘the Italian Little Tibet’

Livigno is one of the Alps' most renowned tourism stations, the Valtellina’s flagship resort, and is set between the Stelvio National Park and the Swiss National Park.

Local audience: 14,000 tourists per week (30% Italians), 6,000 residents (100% Italians) for a total weekly audience of 70,000 presences.

2 international competitions: Livigno Freeride Challenge (Freeride World Qualifier series) and Livigno Ski & Snow Alp Challenge.

The activities will take place all around Livigno: on the 2 main ski areas (Mottolino and Carosello 3000), downtown stage, in several clubs and shops, in Plaza Placheda Touristic Center (with facilities such as conference room, expo area, offices etc.)

FREERIDE WORLD TOUR 2015 European Freeride Festival will host a ‘Freeride World Qualifier’ event,

with the aim to become an official Freeride World Tour event in 2016.

4 event locations around Livigno are approved already by Freeride World Tour technical delegates: Monte Breva, Corno di Capra, Versante destro Colle Val Nera and Pizzo Filone.

Section A

Organized in partnership with the main Italian Snowboard and Freeski tradefair, ‘Pro Shop Test’, a ‘Freeride Test Village’ will offer the participants the opportunity to try the main brands products. More than 70 brands are exposed at Pro Shop Test and many already confirmed their participation to the EFF Test Village.

LIVIGNO FREERIDE CHALLENGE the freeride contest hosted by European Freeride Festival

- The freeride contest hosted by the European Freeride Festival 2015 will be the most important activity of the event, from both competitive point of view than for the international media coverage.

- The contest will be a 4Star Freeride World Qualifier, and it aim to became a Freeride World Tour official event from the second edition in 2016.

- Awaited athlets: 80 riders (man-women, ski-snowboard) coming from approx 12 nations and pre-selected by the Freeride World Tour official ranking.

- The freeride competition will be the main actvivity of European Freeride Festival to be communicated by the press offices and pr agencies hired for the event promotion.

- TV Production with a 6 people troupe on location: Director of Production, 3 cameramen, sound supervisor and video editor. Drones and helicopters will be used as well.

- Video Output: - Daily highlights for web and tv news

- Runs from every athlets available the same day of the event for to go viral on web and social media.

- 12’ minutes extended video edit about the competition in full-HD format after 4 days from the event.

- 24’ minutes TV Show about the European Freeride Festival (including also the 12 minutes from the freeride competition) 14 days after the event.

THE COMMUNICATION PLAN will promote the event and Livigno resort as the new freeride touristic destination.

15 different press offices around Europe, an event agency specialized in snow sports, broadcasting partners, road show, partners event and online-offline communications.

TARGET MARKET: Italy and Europe, with main focus on German

speaking and East European countries.

From September 2014 until January 2015, European Freeride Festival will be promoted with a road show across the main alpine ski resorts in Italy, Austria and Swiss and during the trade events SKIPASS (Modena, Italy), IF3 (Innsbruck, Austria) and Pro Shop Test (Andalo, Italy).

• PARTNER SHOPS

50 ‘official EFF shops’ in Italy, Austria, Swiss and Germany will support the local promotion of EFF and will bring groups to the event. In addition, promo print material will be distributed in 500 shops around Italy.

• Title Sponsor European Freeride Festival – cost to be negotiated

This level of sponsorship is more a kind of partial ownershop of the event. Becoming title sponsor would impact the logo and your brand would become part of the event name. All aspects of the event would be covered in this arrangement and the title sponsor would have the greatest return and opportunities with leveraging, branding, event growth direction and media strategy.

All discussions on title sponsorship are reserved for long-term proposals.

• Title Sponsor for the Freeride World Tour qualification event – cost to be negotiated

This level of sponsorship connect your logo with the Freeride World Tour qualification event, the main activity in the European Freeride Festival schedule. As the event aspire to upgrade as an official Freeride World Tour event in 2016, this title sponsorship is reserved to long-term partner which will be invited to join strategical decision about the event growth. The sponsor brand will be the most esposed during the freeride contest and will receive a Silver/Gold position in the EFF as well (depending on the agreement).

• Title Sponsor for both Freeride Contest and European Freeride Festival – cost to be negotiated

This option represents the largest integration in the project for a partner, from media exposure to strategical decision and managing aspects. It is reserved for long-term proposal.
