Dear all,
Writing this application pack has brought back all the nerve and excitement that
my team and I felt exactly a year ago. The past 12 months have flown by quicker
than ever, filled with endless challenges, joy and most importantly, a huge learning
curve for all of us on the EB 14.15.
The nerves yet overwhelming excitement at the prospect of being in the position
to shape the local committee over the coming year to a place where we believe it
to be is something I will never forget. You will never be fully prepared to face the
challenges that come with the role and you will definitely be tested emotionally,
intellectually and even physically. There will be no other experience that will help
you grow and develop more as a person, team player and leader as well as gaining
a deeper self-awareness.
It has been a joy and a privilege to lead the LC this year. I am grateful beyond words
at the contribution each one of you have made. Seeing the way you’ve come
together to face challenges, how you’ve challenged yourself and the belief you
have in this organisation has made all the tough times completely worth it. I believe
in each and everyone’s potential to step up and take this opportunity to push
yourself and push our LC to its greatest potential.
And now, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I present the Executive
Board Application Pack for AIESEC in Newcastle 15.16!
