For a long period of time, I was on the lookout for a Masters that would be industry - oriented ; preferably it should be a part of SAPUniversity Alliance. My goal is to become a Techno-Functional consultant in a leading ERP like SAP.When I came across the MSc in Technical Consulting at Sheffield Hallam University, I knew it was the course that I had beenlooking for.

In my opinion this masters degree provides a solid understanding of Business Process Integration . For a person seeking to enterSAP it provides a great overview of how the different modules of SAP integrate together, and the exchange of information betweenthese modules/processes. For a person like me who has very little business background it is like a dream come true.

This program has more to offer. Its flexible study options (Full-Time or Distance Learning ) are very beneficial indeed. Moreovera few students from this course will get a sponsorship from Capgemini; this makes the program even more lucrative and affordable.

My professional experience and my education have brought out the very best in me.I also have three years of professional experience in the largest IT company in the world - IBM. While working at IBM I have

become accustomed to the rigours of professional life, and have increased my problem solving and analytical reasoning by leapsand bounds. I am ready to apply my problem solving skills to the Masters in Technical Consulting degree which I am so eager to

undertake.I have had 6 to 7 years of education in the field of Computer Science. I have a Bachelors Degree ( with Honours ) in Computer

Science , followed by a 3 years Full-Time masters in Computer Applications. I am confident that the subjects I have learnt in theseyears enables me to explore and successfully complete ERP related Masters degree like the Master of Science in TechnicalConsulting.

As stated before, I aspire to enter the field of ERP as a Techno-Functional consultant. This Masters degree will teach me aboutSAP Netweaver and Business Process Integration . These concepts are of a prime value to a person like me, who is looking toembark on a career as a SAP Techno-Functional consultant.
