On Saturday 26th September some of our staff took part in the Windsor 10K Run, Running For Women. Ms Ames asked that they fund raise for 2 children’s charities—Starlight and Shooting Stars Children's Hospice. The links to sponsor both charities are below.

Unfortunately, the Karate ses-sion has been cancelled until further notice.

After half term there will be a new dance club for years 4-6 on a Tuesday.

On a positive note, for this half term 118 individual children have taken part in one or more after school club.

The Discovery Club Menu for this week – Roasted Vegetable Cous Cous. 3 x mixed peppers. 1 red onion. 2 x courgettes 100g couscous. 200ml water. 1 x stock (cube veg or chicken). 1 tbsp powdered coriander. 1 lemon zest and juice. Method - Cut the peppers in half and re-

move the core. Peel the onions and cut into quarters. Slice the courgettes into thick discs. Lay all the vegetables into a roasting dish. Drizzle with a little oil cumin seeds and rosemary. Mix together and roast in a pre heated oven for 15 minutes 180c. To make the couscous bring the water coriander and stock cube to the boil. Pour the couscous into a tray. Pour the water over the couscous. Cling film for 20 minutes. After this time remove the cling film and stir with a fork. Add the juice and zest of the lemon too. Once the veg and couscous are ready, in a large bowl toss the warm vegetables with the couscous.
