Rotary Club of Cherry Hill Twilight

An eye-popping burst of more than 5,000 colorfultulips is blooming in downtown Haddonfield, thanks tothe Rotary Club of Haddonfield and several partners inthis historic and charming town. “Tulips on Tanner,” aproject initiated by Rotary, is designed to attract visitorsand further beautify Tanner Street which recentlycompleted a year-long reconstruction project.

The Rotary Club of Haddonfield created the ideaand contributed $2,000 to the initiative, with supportfrom The Haddonfield Foundation for a matchingamount, and $1,500 from the owners of the officebuilding located at 56 Haddon Avenue which backs up toTanner Street. Although the installation is on publicproperty and was undertaken with Borough approval, nopublic funds were requested nor spent on thiscommunity project. The beautiful bulbs were supplied bythe Haddonfield Tulip Company and planted in earlyDecember.

Catch them while they’re still blooming – TannerStreet is just off Kings Highway in downtownHaddonfield, along the brick wall of the parking lotbehind 56 Haddon Avenue, adjacent to the Library.
