Bórd Gáis Energy Munster U21 Final Cork play Limerick in the Bórd Gáis Energy Munster U21 Hurling Final on
Wednesday, August 3rd at 7.30pm at the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick.
Admission is €15, concessions €10 and U16s are free. For more on the

MBNA Kick Fada
2011 Launched

this weekend to launch
the 2011 MBNA Kick
Fada competition,
where they issued a
challenge to GAA
players from both club
and county to take part
in the 2011 competition
and break the Kick Fada
distance records which
now stand for a decade.

‘Just Play Cork’ Activities Fifty children aged between seven and nine years took part in a
Monster Hurling Blitz hosted by Mayfield GAA on Saturday July 17th.
The ‘Just Play Cork' project is being coordinated by Cork Urban
Development Officer John Neville. John ensured that Go-Games were
the match format and that each club thoroughly enjoyed their Monster

24 shots and 42m.

regular basis. Any club
having access problems
(lost passwords etc)

Hurling Coaching Clinics Paudie O’Brien GDA and John Neville (pictured below), Urban
Development Officer, are currently running a summer hurling coaching
clinic for U10s and U11s in Cork City and surrounding areas. The
programme consists of four hurling sessions in Pairc Ui Rinn. All
coaching is being done by both John and Paudie with the help of
members of the Cork U21 hurling Panel and other qualified
coaches. The sessions are being supported by Cork Sports Partnership
as part of the Urban Development GAA Programme. There is a charge
of €2 per child per session. If children from your club wish to attend
please contact Paudie O Brien GDA by text to 086 7725411 so we have
an idea of numbers attending. Please text at least 3 days in advance of
the first session in your area. See below for times, dates, venues.
Tuesday 9th August U10: 11am - 12.30pm, U11: 1pm - 2.30pm
Tuesday 16th August U10: 11am - 12.30pm U11: 1pm to 2.30pm
Peil Abú Well done to John Neville, Urban Development Co-ordinator, and the
Cork Peil Abú group who played in Croke Park during the recent All-
Ireland Quarter-Final between Cork and Mayo.

Cork GAA Clubs’ Draw: Car for Glanworth Congratulations to Daithi Pierce (Glanworth), recent winner of a car in
the Cork GAA Clubs’ Draw. The 2011/2012 Draw Series commences in
October 2011, with the launch on September 12th at Bishopstown.
