Gradient‘s DD system (Double Diagonal system) is the core of Gradient‘s new generation of wings. This special construction works from inside the canopy. It gives a high degree of inherent stability and optimises tension on the whole wing. A carefully chosen combination of different wing materials has been selected to work with the DD system. The result is a perfect balance of all relevant physical forces in flight. Following on from the DD system a completely new and innovative line layout was created. Compared to Gradient‘s intermediate Golden 3 the Nevada uses 33% less line – an enormous aerodynamic advantage. The profile has been specially developed for XC demands of the future: a slender, elliptical shape shows a slight positive contortion of the leading edge. In flight the ears are slightly swept back. The main advantage is highly increased stability throughout the whole speed range. This aerodynamic design is perfected by adjusted cell openings. Visually it gives the Nevada a stylish and racy look.

Le DD system de Gradient (Double Diagonal system) est le Cœur de la génération des nouvelles ailes Gradient. Cette architecture spéciale fonctionne de l’intérieur de la voile. Elle donne un haut degré de stabilité intrinsèque et optimise les forces dans toute l’aile. Une combinaison soigneuse des différents matériaux de l’aile a été choisie pour être en synergie avec le DD system. Le résultat est un équilibre parfait de toutes les composantes des forces en vol. Sur la base du DD system, un plan de suspentage complètement nouveau et innovant a été réalisé. Comparé à l’aile intermédiaire de Gradient, la Golden3, cette répartition économise plus de 33% de longueur de suspentes – un énorme avantage aérodynamique. Le profil a été spécialement étudié pour les besoins du Cross du futur : une forme elliptique qui présente une faible déformation positive du bord d’attaque. En vol, les plumes sont faiblement décalées vers l’arrière. L’intérêt réside en une stabilité accrue dans toute la gamme des vitesses. Le design aérodynamique est amélioré par l’ajustement des tailles d’ouvertures des caissons. Cela donne à la Nevada une silhouette stylée et racée.

Gradient DD system (Double Diagonal system) je srdcem nové generace Gradient kluzáků střední a vyšší střední třídy. Tento inovativní systém je použit ve vnitřní konstrukci kluzáků. Dává křídlu vysoký stupeň vnitřní stability a rozkládá optimálně napětí uvnitř celého vrchlíku. Velmi důležitá je pečlivě vybraná kombinace použitých materiálů speciálně s ohledem na DD system a celkovou konstrukci Nevady. Díky DD systemu bylo možné použít zcela nový systém vyvázání. V porovnání s kluzákem Golden3 je použito o 33% méně šňůr, což je enormní aerodynamická výhoda.Půdorys tvoří štíhlá elipsa s lehce pozitivním zakřivením náběžné hrany. Profil je speciálně vyvinut pro tento model. Vstupní otvor má odstupňovanou velikost, což reguluje žádoucím způsobem průchod vzduchu a omezuje rychlé změny tlaku uvnitř vrchlíku. Jeho tvar a umístění umožňují optimální funkci ve velkém rozsahu úhlů náběhu.  Do výztuh v přední části žeber jsou integrovány nylonové struny, které přispívají  k dobrému plnění vrchlíku a zajišťují čistý tvar náběžné hrany.

Technology that makes sense is what you find to the Nevada‘s last detail. The reinforced leading edge gives comfortable launch characteristics and a perfect in-flight profile shape. A new layout of line attachment points works intelligently by distributing forces across the glider. It softens collapses and increases the stability of the profile while flying on speed bar. The upper level lines have progressively differing diameters and are made from special, strong unsheathed lines. All these lines have the advantage of splice loops, to give maximum overall strength, durability and the lowest possible drag. The sophisticated combination of Dyneema and Vectran lines used in the glider maintain the correct geometry within the suspension system for a long time, even after hours of air time. The Nevada is fitted with a three-riser speed-system which gives great acceleration. The Nevada is delivered in Gradient‘s new rucksack featuring the unique carrying system. Gradient recommends the Gradient Concertina Bag for maximum care and durability of the wing.

Sinnvolle Technologie findet sich im Nevada bis ins kleinste Detail. Eine verstärkte Anströmkante dient dem Startkomfort und gibt dem Profil im High Speed Bereich den perfekten Shape. Die spezielle Kombination unterschiedlicher Leinen (Dyneema, Vectran) wurde vor der Serienproduktion dauerhaft erprobt. Dies gewährleistet auch nach vielen Flugstunden eine einwandfreie Aerodynamik. Leinenanlenkpunkte mit intelligenter Lastverteilung dämpfen impulsive Öffnungen und stabilisieren das beschleunigte Profil. Das Race-Leinen Set up der aufwendig gespleißten Gallerie besteht aus unummantelten Leinen variablen Durchmessers. Daraus resultiert eine perfekte Kräftebalance und eine maximale Lebensdauer. Das Speedsystem des Nevada greift über drei Tragegurte enorm effektiv. Die Verwendung hochwertigster Materialien ist bei Gradient Standard und im Nevada selbstverständlich. Vous trouverez dans les détails de la Nevada des technologies qui font sens. Le bord d’attaque renforcé procure des caractéristiques de décollage confortables et une tenue du profil en vol parfaite. Un nouveau plan des points d’ancrage répartit astucieusement les forces dans toute l’aile. Elle amortit les fermetures et augmente la stabilité du profil en vol accéléré. Les suspentes non gainées de diamètres progressifs donnent à la Nevada un suspentage haut de compétition. Toutes les suspentes sont épissurées. Avec moins de trainée, plus de résistance mécanique et une meilleure longévité. Une bonne répartition des suspentes principales (Dyneema, Vectran) garantit le maintien des propriétés aérodynamiques dans le temps. L’accélérateur sur les trois rangées est efficace. Des petits détails comme les maillons avec les blocages plastiques confirment une impression de belle finition. La Nevada est fournie avec le nouveau sac de portage ergonomique. Technologie, která má smysl a dává opravdovou výhodu, to je to, co najdete v Nevadě. Vyváženě vyztužená náběžná hrana dává komfortní charakteristiku startu a perfektní zajištění přesné profiláže v letu. Nový systém zašňůrování pracuje velmi efektivně s ohledem na přenos sil z poutek do celého vrchlíku. Vnitřní struktura vrchlíku pracuje perfektně jak při letu, kdy vyztužuje vrchlík, tak také v případě kolapsu, kdy snižuje dynamiku ”předstřelu”. Kombinace opletených a neopletených šňůr s progresivně odstupňovanými průměry podrtrhují ambiciozní naladění Nevady. Veškeré neopletené šnůry jsou zakončeny závleky, což přispívá k maximální efektivitě a trvanlivosti použitých šňůr. Tří popruhový speed system (s rozdělenou A řadou) pracuje velmi dobře. Malé detaily, jako karabinky s Gradient plastovými zámky, úzké 15 mm popruhy jsou důkazem promyšlení i těch nejmenších detailů. Na Nevadě, stejně jako na všech Gradient kluzácích, jsou použity pouze materiály nejvyšší kvality zavedených a prověřených světových výrobců. Nevada je standardně dodávána s novým Gradient batohem.
