Corvette Expressions 3rd Edition—Volume 139 April, 2018

Greetings, and welcome to the April, 2018 issue of Corvette Expressions. Finally, the end of one of the worst March months ever! With four nor’easters now safely behind us, perhaps we can start uncovering our vettes and getting them out on the road. There were two fun activities this month. First, Bill Nagle organized a delicious excursion to Jersey Shore BBQ in Belmar on March 10. Then, the following Saturday, Howard Fink led a lovely cruise to Amish country to enjoy, not only great scenery, but a wonderful turkey dinner with all the fixings. As promised, you can now see a list of NJ car shows and cruise nights in each monthly issue of Corvette Expressions, beginning with the April issue. Please note that, while I do my best to find and list local events, there may be some that I miss, so please feel free at any time to send me information you may come across about upcoming shows and cruise nights. Happy Easter and Happy Passover! The next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 4. See you then. Lisa Force Newsletter Editor

Hello Corvette Express members. So, finally we make it to spring and Corvette season... Since poor weather prevented us from having a March meeting; we will go over those minutes and financials, etc. at the April meeting. Looking ahead, our activities agenda is growing, and we need to ensure everything is in place for our annual vette-together at Bar-A. Committee reports and sign-up sheets with location, dates and times should be re-viewed at the monthly meetings. All-important club related info should be passed along to our newsletter editor, Lisa Force and our internet editor Kathy Jones so that all members have access to club happenings and information. Please remember to promote our club and invite a fel-low Corvette owner/enthusiast to an event or meeting. We are the premier Corvette club in New Jersey, and in addition to being involved in club activities, we must ensure growth and diversity in both our member-ship and cars. At this point, if you have not yet paid your 2018 dues please contact our treasurer or membership coordina-tor to ensure you're still a member 'in good standing". I know we're all looking forward to great weather this season, and I'm confident, due to everyone's hard work and participation, we're going to have a great time. Thank You. Yours in Corvettes, Rob Lombardi
