May katiyakan na ang pagdaloy ng malinis at dalisay na inuming tubig sa lalawigan ng North Cotabato sa Mindanao matapos

magsagawa dito ang Metro Kidapawan Water District (MKWD) at ang Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) ng proyektongpantubig. Inaasahang makikinabang ang humigit kumulang sa 30 libong mamamayan na naninirahan sa Kidapawan City, at mgakaratig bayan ng Makilal a, Matalam at Magpet sa pagtatapos ng nasabing proyekto. Pinasinayaan sa pamumuno ni LWUA Chair-man Prospero Pichay Jr. (gitna) ang bagong concrete ground reservoir sa barangay Amas sa Kidapawan City na may kapasidad namagimbak ng 600 metro cubic ng tubig. Ang concrete reservoir na bahagi lamang ng buong proyekto na nagkakahalaga ng P252milyon ay pinondohan ng LWUA.
