Christmas at Careys Manor Hotel is my favourite time of year. Our cosy country manor, the smell of mulled wine and the the warmth of a roaring log fire - just perfect.

For those guests eager to experience the outdoors, The New Forest reclaims its wild charm in the winter. Enjoy crisp mornings ambling across the frost covered heathland and explore ancient woodland whilst spotting the elusive White Buck through the evening mist,

As well as promoting relaxation, we like to encourage our guests to discover the delicious cuisine in our three restaurants; there is something to suit every taste - enjoy exquisite forest inspired fine dining at the new Cambium Restaurant, an authentic Thai feast in the Zen Garden or rustic French cuisine in Le Blaireau, Bar & Bistro.

At dinner, you will be spoilt with the choice of three restaurants whilst beautiful hymns from the local choir fil l the hotel with festive cheer. With local churches within walking distance, wrap up warm and take a stroll to midnight mass.

25CHRISTMAS DAYWhat better way to start Christmas Day than with a New Forest breakfast at Cambium. After breakfast, take part in our renowned ‘Car Treasure Hunt’, devised by Head of Concierge Colin, for the chance to win a magnum of Champagne. Christmas lunch will commence with champagne and canapés followed by a traditional sumptuous feast. In the evening enjoy a light buffet with live music from our guitarist.

26BOXING DAYWake up to a New Forest breakfast and be inspired by a cookery demonstration from our Executive Chef then perhaps take some time out to unwind at SenSpa. The Black Tie Ball completes the perfect Christmas break with a live band, dancing and mouth-watering food.
