Christmas Eve

Guests arriving on Christmas Eve are invited to begin their Christmas celebrations

with a visit to our magical Christmas Kingdom. Feel the air on your face as you glide

around the sparkling ice rink, and watch your children’s faces light up as they visit Santa

in his grotto and meet his real reindeer too!

Sample a delicious feast of winter warming treats including hot chestnuts, Christmas

spiced popcorn and homemade mince pies, enjoy festive music and have a family

photograph taken with Santa’s reindeer as a special memento of the day. See page 15

Due to high demand, reservations are essential and subject to availability.

Residents are invited to join us later in the afternoon to hear The Salvation Army

play traditional Christmas carols setting the scene for a magical evening. This will be

followed by the Abertillery Orpheus Male Voice Choir singing traditional carols and

Welsh hymns around the Christmas tree.

Please note that access to Merlins Bar on Christmas Eve will be restricted to hotel residents, Resort

On Christmas Day, the Caernarfon Ballroom is

transformed into a magical winter wonderland with

the festive aroma of real Christmas trees, thousands of

sparkling lights, beautifully decorated tables, snowmen,

penguins, reindeer and plenty of snow! For our younger

guests we have our own landing strip for Santa’s sleigh

and his reindeer, plus a giant red velvet armchair ready

for his arrival.

Feel the Christmas spirit brought to life as our live band

entertains you with festive tunes and your favourite

songs. A magnificent gourmet buffet will be set amongst

Lunch & New Year’s Eve Celebrations

1. A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of making a

provisional booking. For groups, one cheque is required. Cheques

should be made payable to The Celtic Manor Resort and have the

banker’s card number and the name and address of the organiser/

event on the reverse. Final balance must be paid by 1st October

2012. For bookings made from 1st October onwards, full payment

will be required at time of booking.

2. All monies paid in advance are strictly non-refundable and

cannot be used to pay for other goods and services. Please note

that in the event of snow or inclement weather conditions which

prevent you from reaching the Resort, this policy still applies. Party

organisers are requested to inform everyone in their party of this

policy.

3. Functions and party night accommodation are subject to

availability and are not confirmed until payment has been received

in full and a letter of confirmation issued by Celtic Manor.

4. Suitable standards of dress must be maintained. The Resort

reserves the right to judge acceptable noise levels and guest

behaviour. In the event of failure to comply with the standards set,

management will either stop the event or ask the persons involved

to leave without being liable for any refund or compensation.

5. No wines, spirits or food may be brought into the Resort or the

grounds for consumption on the premises.

6. Seating for Christmas Party Nights and our New Year’s Eve

Gala Dinner is on tables of 10 - 12 and we will endeavour to sit

all groups together on adjacent tables, we cannot however accept

individual table plans. Parties under 10 in number will be seated

with other small parties to make up tables of 10.

7. Please indicate all dietary requests and food allergies at time of

booking.

8. The Celtic Manor Resort reserves the right to move Party Nights

if minimum numbers are not reached.

Festive Season Accommodation Bookings

1. Where stated, some accommodation rates require pre-payment

at time of booking, and these bookings are non-refundable and

non-transferable.

2. For New Year’s Eve breaks and 4 Nights for 3 Offer, all

bookings made prior to 1st October 2012 require full payment

within 14 days of making the provisional booking along with

individual guest names. Rooms are automatically released if either

is not received. From 1st October onwards, full payment and guest

details are required at the time of booking.

3. All pre-payments are strictly non-refundable or transferable.

Please note that in the event of snow or inclement weather
