General Information

Workshop OverviewSince the establishment of the first EAGE subsurface work-shop on Iraq held in 2012 many of the southern Iraq fields have gone through major development and re-development programs. Major data acquisition programs (seismic, core, logs) and production and surveillance data have increased our understanding of the reservoirs. This understanding is often limited to one field in the region. Sharing learnings and infor-mation of the same reservoir units between fields would be of extreme value for developing the region.

The focus of this workshop is the understanding of the giant fields of Southern Iraq and to concentrate on field develop-ment topics. This workshop will bring the subsurface commu-nity of Southern Iraq together and will help to better develop these fields.
