MeN’S CONfereNCe WITH STeve farrarauguST 6-7Cross Point Church of Christ in Florence is hosting His Man on His Mission, a special men’s conference with best-selling author Steve Farrar. In his classic book “Point Man: How a Man Can Lead His Family”, Steve seeks to equip men to embrace biblical masculinity and become the spiritual leaders of their families. The conference will take place at the Cross Point church building (1350 Cox Creek Parkway, Florence 35633) on friday, august 7 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm and Saturday, august 8 from 8:30 - 11:30 am. Tickets are $20.00 per person. See Jason Bybee for tickets. For more information, contact Will Bridges at 256-434-0376.

reServINg a rOOM fOr MINISTry eveNTSWhen you or your ministry need to use any room in the Mayfair building, please first book it through [email protected] or call the church office at 256-881-4651. Mayfair has many ministries, small groups, committees and organizations continually using the building, often concurrently. Booking a room eliminates the possibilities for conflicts, allows us to set our HVAC system to run during your event, and provide necessary janitorial support before the next group arrives. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

BarNaBaS SHeeTIf you, a family member or friend are sick or in need of prayers, please email [email protected] or fill out a blue card at the Information Desk in the Lobby. We would be glad to add your name to the Mayfair Message Center and Barnabas Sheet so members can join you in prayer. It is wonderful that we have the opportunity to care for the emotional, spiritual, and physical health of one another.

Summer Intern - We are blessed to have Carey Holton return this summer as our intern. So plug in, get connected with the ministry he is working with or have him over for supper. He likes food.

“genuine” is this summer’s theme. In a world where it’s easier to be fake than a real authentic follower of Christ, we will share our Wednesday nights gathering to praise the Lord and discuss what it looks like to be who we’re called to be. We will have our gatherings on Wednesdays through July 29 at 7:00 pm in The Attic. Schedule: Serving at Benefield Homes - June 24 and July15 Braves Game - June 20; Our Ministry Game Nights - July 10 Belize - July 11-18; White Water Rafting - July 25 - $35

They provide them with foster care, vocational/educational training, life-skills, and a connection to Christ. We will go and serve/sweat/work together. The kids love it. (We would love for some parents to join us as well).

MyM CHurCH CaMP - July 12-17 - God has done something special with this event. 2015 will be our 5th Annual Church Camp. This is the one event, we beg the teens to choose. There is no substitute, connection-wise, with a week together, away from technology and the other typical distractions. Camp is nestled in the hills of Lynchburg, Tennessee. [God’s country. Go Vols.] More than any other event or program we do, teens respond to time together at Camp.
