The following pages are thoughts and personal

expressions of people from around the World. These

condolences were captured on a Facebook page

called “New Zealand our Condolences”

They are an exact copy of the original message, no

editing has been done. The emotions that can be read

at the time of the tragedy are of sorrow, grief and a

steely unified stand.

Each condolence has the original Facebook link

embedded in to the book thus allowing the reader to

make a comment or expression back.

This book can be emailed, printed or transferred by

any means.

We hope that the following pages will express the

emotions and feelings of thousands of people who

were touched by the tragedy of the New Zealand

earthquake on the 22nd February 2011.

Please Lord tell me what it is that I can do, you can't fix

these things with money, but with love and prayer and

getting out there. So if we don't have alot of money hw

do we help? If only I could really make a difference, for

now I will pray. If I wasn't married, I would flee down

there and help clean up the mess as risky as it is for

another earthquake. But at least if I die, I die by desiring

a life that is humble and there for one another. It's the

only way life can become great.

Christchurch's destiny is not of their choosing. They did

not seek, nor did they provoke a disaster on their City.

They did not excpect, nor did they invite, this

confrontation with horror. Yet the true measure of a

peoples' strength is how they rise to master that moment

when it does arrive.

feel to lose your home and loved ones in such a

tragic event. My heart sincerely goes out to everyone

affected by it.
