Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear fellow believers, I just discovered a while ago that Bro. Lonnie Jenkins had passed away. I remember the first time I heard him give a teaching. It was at Tucson Tabernacle in1975 or 1976, I believe. He drew 3 circles on a big white board that symbolized the body, soul, and spirit. I was new in this Message and was very impressed by the simplicity and yetprofoundness of the lesson.

About a year ago I wrote him a question and he answered my email right away andwas very kind in his response. I was a bit surprised for I'm sure he was very busy.

I read all the comments and it's certainly evident that Bro. Lonnie had the rightSpirit! And though it seems like many tired warriors of the Message are getting older, andcloser, soon to be plucked from the earth for His bouquet. Yet, that's what we all want...whatever it is that God wants. To always be in Hisperfect will and to accept His timecard for our lives. And we know there is noguarantee for tomorrow, in this twilight time when there's danger on all sides, and inevery way.

Brother Lonnie loved the Word. And that is what God sees...how much we love the Word sent for this day, which isour Portion, that was authorized by God to come through a humble man namedWilliam Branham, who was the voice God spoke through that's recorded on theMessage tapes, that came with an infallible Message because God is perfect, and allHis ways are perfect to perfect His Bride, by a perfect Message sent to prepare usfor the third exodus to the Promised Land. I believe Bro. Lonnie felt the same way.

May God comfort the Jenkins family and all those who are hurting at his mortalpassing. God is good, His will be done.

I will remember Bro. Lonnie S. Jenkins when he first visited Malawi in 1982, then Ihad read the End Time Message book but I had not yet made up my mind. I wasstill debating in heart where to go and I thought of joining Seveth Day Adventistbecause of sabbath issue, I thought they had truth after reading their book. As I waspreparing to go and join them to be one of them, its when I head about a meetingthat took place on Friday evening at Bangwe Church Centre, where Brother LonnieJenkins was preaching. He taught about True Sabbath and right their my eyes wereopened and I quickly made up my mind, my heart was broken, I found myself intears of joy because this was what I was looking for, God answered my prayer, hesaw me in Malawi and send Bro. Lonnie Jenkins. To me brother Lonnie Jenkins is a great teacher I have ever seen, I salute him, forthe great missionary work he did hear in Malawi. Spiritually speaking he was afreind, my teacher, my father and a hero. May his soul rest in peace.

I never met Brother Lonnie, but whoever I met in Message heard about PreciousBrother Lonnie Jenkins. He was a great teacher of Bible, brillient and faithfulminister of the Word of God. I heard he is the person who brought the Messageinto Pakistan. I greatly appreciative and thankful to him for his great efforts to takethis precious End time Message around the globe.

I met Lonnie when He came to Minister in Kenya Loved His messagesresponsibilities of Husbands and Fathers. On the day He was Promoted to Glory I looked for the last Message in the database that He Preached, It was Communionas far as I found The 27 minutes message was a big blessing and as He left thepulpit as He sang the song The Family of GOD. Sorry to learn of the passing on of our beloved brother Lonnie Jenkins, the Bibleteacher.

I was indeed touched. I 've playing brother Lonnie's cds almost every evening andmy children have been calling him, "The old man who reads the Bible" And theyknomally tell me, "Put for us the cd of the old man who reads the Bible."

We shall miss brother Lonnie. But we thank God for his life and the way God hasused him for accomplishing God's purpose.

Indeed brother Lonnie has graduated after fighting the good fight. We pray for thefamily of the Jenkins. May the Almighty God comfort them in this hour. God bless

Bro. Lonnie’s teachings has been a significant stepping stone for our spiritualjourney. Especially those on the Godhead were simply wonderful. Also theblessings out of the Global Answers series are continuing. For us, all hascontributed to a more balanced walk in Christ.

We feel very privileged we had the opportunity to meet with Bro. Lonnie personallyin 2008 and at the end of last year. The conversations we had at the different placeswere a blessing we will never forget.

As a young Message believer in the early 90's, I had the privilege of hearing Br.Lonnie when he came and ministered in the church I was attending as well as beingable to pick up some of his videos. It never ceased to amaze me how his gift wasable to open up the Word of God to my young believing heart. Dear memories I have on bro Lonnie's meetings in the church of Rotterdam. Manytimes I was his translator in Dutch. I remember his just converted son Jeff was withhim, singing the great Emancipator, now pastor. We both have very fond memories of Bro. Jenkins since we stayed with him in1994. We spent about two weeks having fellowship and discussing the Word.

He was very gracious and kind, as were the rest of the Jenkins familiy.

Bro. Lonnie now rests with the blessed, awaiting his reward.

I met Bro. Lonnie when I was sixteen years old. He and Bro. Jeff were one of the first ministers to come to our church in Albion, Pa. after we had received themessage. He invited us to Tuscon for the December meetings in 1976. We had noidea that there were so many believers. Bro. Lonnie made sure I had a place to stay,and made sure I went on a short trip over the Mexican border with other believers.Over the years, I remember him as being kind, firm, and steady. Whenever he sawBryan and I over the years at family camp and such he always greeted us with his

One time Annahope had ulcers all in her mouth and throat(she was very little). Shewas in so much pain she could not even drink water or take a bottle. She hadbecome dehydrated and the doctors were planning to hospitalize her if she did notstart drinking the next morning. We felt to take her to the convention and haveBro.Lonnie pray for her after the service. I remember Bro.Lonnie praying the most calm, simple little prayer. There was nogreat emotion, not even the raising of his voice. However when we left, after hisprayer, Annahope was Completely healed and ALL ulcers had Miraculouslydisappeared !! She ate hot, salty, spicy food and drank within an hour!! It was aMiracle!!! Your daddy lived what he preached and signs followed his ministry! Hewill be greatly missed by many.

I met Rev. Lonnie Jenkins back in 1986 when he would have services in Conneticuttonce a month, in a small house that belong to the Cutts family. I had just came intothe Message and he was responsible for laying the foundation to much of what Iknow of the Message, indicating and lining up biblical precepts opon precepts intheir proper order. He was a tremendous teacher highly gifted of God particularly inthe realm of the prophetic books, I will surely miss him. We met Brother Lonnie in Tucson, Arizona, at the Tucson Tabernacle. Weworshipped together in that church from June 1970 to March 1971. We had a nicefellowship together and we have been friends since that time. He has been a blessingto us in Tucson and also later on when he visited us a few times in Switzerland andministered for us. He is the one who got me started on the computer. We thank theLord for having been able to spend a few hours with him in November of last year,in Lima, Ohio. We thank God for his worldwide ministry that has been a blessing tomany. Our love and prayers go to his son Jeff and his son Paul and their familiesand the members of the local church. Bro. Jeff Please allow me to extend our deepest sympathies, to you, yourfamily and our brothers and sisters at BCF.

Our bother Lonnie will be missed, but he said that he is waiting for us, when Iwatched the clip, he spoke to my heart, I never met him in person, he mailed me afew times, I would have loved to have him as a dad, but I know I'll meet him oneday.

God called me in 2010 to the Message, I had questions about the baptism and a



friend gave me some Global Answers DvD's to watch...that was it. Since then, we are listening to tapes, I download all sermons preached at BCF usingItunes even archives as I feel led.

In November I recorded a few songs that I mailed to sister Suzanne Brooks tothank you and your dad for what you have done for me and my family, I hope youreceived them.

I have so many fond memories of Brother Lonnie, but perhaps the one I'll sharehere is one that not so many would ever remember. It was quite a long time ago,probably back in 1999. I was a young man, newly married, and we were drivingseveral hours to attend services there in the old sanctuary. It had been impressedupon our hearts to support a certain missionary in Russia, even though it was quitea sacrifice for us. I had spoken with Brother Lonnie about it, and when he preachedthat next day, he took the time in service to acknowledge our sacrifice by name as away to encourage others to give. As someone who never really received muchpraise, this really made me feel quite special. Brother Lonnie always had a smile andwarm handshake for me, and always took the time to answer my questions, and weshared many of the same interests from alternative medicine to straw bale houseconstruction. I'm sure that had we been closer in age we would have been veryclose friends as our interests ran closely together. I will miss him and that piercinglook he would give me when I would ask him a question about the Word.

He was very kind, humble, loveable by his sentences and words whenever i askedhim a query...He never gets irritared or frustrated even i asked the same questionmultiple times, he patiently answers with his more patience...He is so humble to saysometimes that's what he understands...I love him so much and really missed himand his guidance...Always remember each and every point he has written in eachemail...He is really and absolutely a true and humble servant of the Lord who guidedwith his marvellous answers. I remember in my early teen i would sit in the living room with dad and listen to bro.Lonnie teach. I really enjoyed hearing him preach.He is among the few by then i hadlistened to and of course helped me so much in my christian walk.

All in all,iam so sad, in that i will greatly miss him, but thank God for unto me ishope of meeting him some glorious day beyond the yonder.

I first met Bro. Lonnie at Ohio Camp in Aug.1998. I got to have a time to speakwith him in person on a visit to my friend Vince Barnhart's home in Ohio in 1999. Isometimes communicated with Bro. Lonnie by email. I ws greatly blessed by videosof his preaching and missionary reports.Bro. Lonnie visited South Korea in the1980s and I through a phone call to him in 1995 got the contact information for theKorean Message believers in Korea. I am half Korean and I used to visit mygrandma's house in Seoul when my Korean dad and his mom were alive.In Seoul Imet Pastor Bro. Suh Man-ok and Sis. Kim Jinjoo who were friends with Bro.Lonnie and I first saw from them videos of Bro. Lonnie. I spoke with Sis. KimJinjoo on the phone and I know that she and Bro. Suh are thinking of Bro. Lonnie atthis time with love and respect. Bro. Lonnie was a great role model and I know thathe is in Heaven and we will see him again.
