http://nrr10.nrc.gov/NRO/reminders/docs/Timely%20Release%20of%20ADAMS%20Document%20to%20the%20Public.pdf Since we have so many new staff, let me describe one not-so-obvious way that we've often gotten into trouble in the past. If you have a public meeting and use slides or provide a handout that isn't already publicly available, the clock for those documents starts on the meeting date. So if you're not going to make the meeting summary available by the 6th day from the meeting ("after 5 days"), you need to make the slides or handouts publicly available in ADAMS by that 6th day (independent of the meeting summary). You can still attach them to the meeting summary (and include them in the ADAMS package with it) - and then the 6-day clock starts for the meeting summary on the day it is signed. To give a graphic example, assume we have a meeting where we have both as set of slides and a handout. We attach these documents to the meeting summary, issue the meeting summary 10 days after the meeting, and make it immediately available. Unless we've made the two attachments available earlier, we have issued 33% of our documents on time. Not good for our appraisal. Hopefully, this will help us meet this operating plan goal. ---Brent
