Launching ReportsLog into the Designer app as explained in tutorial # 01

You can expect more reporting features to become available with new releases of the Designer app.Reports are presently comprised of three screen types: Grids, Charts and Cubes.• Grids are great for sorting and filtering data e.g. drilling into store audit issues.• Charts show summarised data in graphs and other chart formats giving a snapshot of a situation

e.g. store audits scheduled, audits started and audits completed.• Cubes are OLAP (online analytical processing) screens for slicing and dicing data to show

relationships and drill-through of data. You select reports from the “REPORTS AND DATA” menu.

The “Project Answers” ReportBy default, Flexible Grid reports load lots of 100 records in separate Pages. Below left the report has been paged into 5 pages. This can be problematic when you want to filter the entire data set. To the left, although the project actually has three chains, on loading only one is shown. Click the “Show All” button to switch out of paging mode to see the full data set. The caption changes to “Show Pages” (so you can switch back to paging mode) and as shown to the right all data (for 3 chains) are loaded.

All Flexible Grid reports have the below controls in common

Rather than laboriously repeating the same information, all grid reports operate in a similar fashion to the “Project Answers” report.

The balance of the Flexible Grid reports are therefore not described in this tutorial.

“Available Users” ReportThe “Available Users” report is a Flexible Grid report for searching for users who have made themselves available to be discovered
