Purpose of today’s meeting:

1.Review the Key Activities of Spectrum Solutions2.Determine the amount of progress made in the Issues listed in 2006 and reviewed in 2008: the Here’s What.3.To Discuss what initiatives are underway at various organizations which are related to various items: the So What 4.To determine steps we can take to support each other through a synergy of purpose: the Now What5.How can Spectrum help?

Key Activities for Spectrum Coordinator: Finalize the project work plan (in collaboration with project Steering Committee)  Maintain an ongoing communications/networking list of parents, stakeholders and supporters  Develop an inventory of resource people who are available for families of special needs children.  Support the development of a resource to assist families in navigating services

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Email a quarterly information newsletter to all project partners  Provide logistical support for quarterly Service Provider Networking Luncheons  Support the planning for two educational workshops for parents and service providers  Provide administrative support to the project Steering Committee - Support meetings; record-keeping; reports; development of materials and ongoing communications
