of a word or one of its grammatical categories.

xenophile – n. - A person attracted to that which is foreign, esp. to a foreign peoples,

manners or cultures.

sanguine – adj. - Of the color of blood; red.

chicanery – n. pl. – Deception by trickery or sophistry. A trick; a

subterfuge.

loquacious – adj. - Very talkative; garrulous.

xenophobe – n. - A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of that which is foreign, esp.

of strangers or foreign peoples

kinetic – adj. - Of, relating to, or produced by motion.

incognito – adv. & adj.- One whose identity is disguised or concealed.

vacuous – adj. -Devoid of matter; empty. Lacking intelligence; stupid.

deleterious – adj. - Having a harmful effect; injurious

acumen – n. - Quickness and keenness of judgment or insight.

homogeneous – adj. - Of the same or similar nature or kind. Uniform in structure or composition.

lugubrious – adj. - Mournful, dismal, or gloomy, esp. to an exaggerated or ludicrous

unctuous – adj. -Characterized by affected,

exaggerated, or insincere earnestness
