Article Summary• There are many different geometric solids. Many

occur in nature such as; viruses, crystals and the earth itself. Many are also man-made like buildings, airplanes, baseballs, and also satellites.

• Solids formed by polygons that enclose a single region of space are called polyhedrons.

How are Geometric Solids applied in the real world??

• Geometric solids are applied in the real world in many ways like, in providing shelter for you. Your house is like a cube with a triangle as the roof. The car you or your parents drive has wheels that are circles. Many utilities like water, and gas are sent through cylindrical pipes.

What did we learn about our topic??

• We learned many things about geometric solids, We learned that they are used in our daily lives without us even realizing it.

• Practically everything we use and have are a form of geometric solids.

What interest us on this article??

• What interest us about this article was that it explained many different types of geometric solids in was easy to understand and it gave us visuals.
