Domain Names Pick out a domain name that sounds professional

Use your first name and last name as your first choice - www.marysmith.com If it is already taken, add a middle initial, name, or hyphen if you have to. –

www.mary-smith.com Avoid names such as Rockstaraccountant.com,

dowecheatemandhowattorney.com Pick most common suffix such as .com, .net, .org, .me Don’t use .biz or .info

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is the address of a web page. This is how your computer locates the web page that you are trying to find

your domain name and host your website at the same company.

There are a number of companies to choose from.
