II. GO GREEN PARTY
Earth Day may have been on 22nd April, but in our eyes, it’s always Earth Day.
Making responsible decisions shouldn’t last just for one day; it should be a part
of our everyday life. Cutting down on wastage, living simply, and reusing things
we already own can help lift some of the burden we’re placing on mother earth.
To explore ways of protecting the environment, you have to organize an eco- friendly party for
your friends.
1. You need to make invitation cards (Use recycled paper and waste material to make cards).
2. Make decoration materials using old newspapers, foil papers, toffee wrappers etc.
(For more ideas refer to http://www.designsponge.com/2013/04/entertaining-recycled-party-
decorations.html)
3. Make and decorate a paper bag for exchanging eco friendly gifts.
Enjoy the party!
4. On a coloured A4 size sheet
List at least three things that made it a party with a difference ……….
OR
Compose a short poem (8- 10 lines) about your eco- friendly party with an appropriate title.
III. Fact Family Cards
What are fact families?
Fact families are 3 numbers that are related, just as the people in a family are related. They make a set of related
math facts. Make your own fact family cards (+, ---, X, ---) to play games and practice your math skills! Put on your
thinking cap and let you imaginations go wild to create fact family cards. You can use old CD or card board and
decorate them by drawing your favourite cartoon character on it. Prepare at least five cards using different digits.
Here are few examples for you to get some ideas.

Science Fiction
Science fiction is genre of fiction in which stories often tell us about science and technology of the future. These
