Standard (or Simple) versus Intelligent

• There is still a need for the standard “lead acid replacement” type of battery.

• A “standard” lithium battery will still have a Battery Management System (BMS) circuit board inside to monitor safety criteria.

• But “S” (standard) versions will not have communications capability (no cables).

• “I” (intelligent) versions will have CANBus or SMBus communications interface capability (with cables).

Pole mount single power supply enclosures support distributed powering architectures. They are engineered for broadband powering applications. The three lead acid batteries can be replaced with our lithium technology, increasing capacity and decreasing weight.

Cellular on Wheels Wireless Example
