PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT

A date night for you. A great night for them! Drop the kids off at the YMCA at 5 pm. We have the evening planned. The kids will be grouped into ages 3-5, 6-9, and 10-14. Each group will have two activities and a snack break, then will watch a movie together. June 28, July 26, August 30, and September 27 5 pm to 8 pm for ages 3-14 $15 per child/Members per day $40 per child/Non-members per day

MOMS4FITNESS Join other moms and their babies for push-ups, sit-ups and planks that involve leaning in to kiss your little one! Do squats and lunges using your baby as added resistance. We’ll even get some cardio and core exercise in with your little one on board! These exercises will cap-tivate your baby while you get a great workout.

Come and shoot some hoops, play pickleball or start a game of volleyball – it’s open for you! Please check the gym schedule for availability. PICKLEBALL—OPEN PLAY Come and play America’s fastest growing sport! Pickle-ball is a paddle sport accessible for all ages and skills. The rules are simple and easy to pick up and play for beginners and can quickly progress into a fast paced and competitive game for more experienced players.

AQUATICS PROGRAMS GROUP SWIM LESSONS Learn a life skill with our trained and experienced swim instructors. We are proud to offer a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment and have classes available for everyone at different stages. Our "Me and My Shadow" class is for parents and young children who are ready to be introduced to the water for the first time. Classes 1+2 are for surviving in the water, 3+4 are for developing a swim technique and levels 5+6 are for continued swim development. Please use the "level selector" on our website or ask our staff for support in placing your child in a class.

Benches are available for spectators during the lessons.

FLIP AND DIP Flip & Dip is a beginner gymnastics and swimming program for preschool children ages 3-5. Children begin with 30 minutes of tumbling, followed by a 30 minute beginner swim lesson. Hint: Girls wear swimsuits for gymnastics and boys wear swim trunks and t-shirts. Sign up by the first of the month.

SHALLOW WATER LIFEGUARDING CERTIFICATION Do you work for a service providing support and care for individuals with unique needs? CHILD WATCH—FREE FOR MEMBERS For children ages 8 months-7 years while you work out at the YMCA! Child Watch is available at the YMCA facility for children ages 8 months through 7 years old, while their parents are using YMCA facilities. Parents must remain inside the YMCA. Child watch is FREE for YMCA members and just $2.00 per child/per visit for non-members. *Limited space is available and is on a first-come basis. CHILD WATCH HOURS: Monday through Friday—9:00 am—12:00 pm, Monday through Thursday—4:00 pm—7:30 pm*. *Child Watch will end at 7:30 pm if no children are present.

ADULT PROGRAMS GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

BODY BLAST with April Dinger A tabata-style workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle while challenging the core. This class uses a variety of for-mats and equipment including barbell, resistance tubing, dumbbells and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. The workout will never be the same, so this class will keep you on your toes while keeping the mind and body equally engaged.

PILATES with Susan Slike and Jamie B. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexi-bility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day activities.

AB BLAST with April Dinger A 30 minute core-focused class to improve on toning the abs and strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength. Stand-ing functional core training is combined with floor ab exercises to give you a vital core strengthening experience.

YOGA with Cathie Joslyn An hour of Yoga poses to enhance strength, cardiovascular endurance and enhance flexibility as well as relieve stress and tension. All fitness levels welcome.

SPIN with Carrie, Nicki and Ali This indoor cycling class is a great cardio workout. Pedal through rolling hills, sprints and many other challenging drills. All experience levels are welcome.

SCULPT with Chelsey Shaner A comprehensive workout designed to improve strength and promote fat loss through muscle gains. This high energy class will challenge you through creative programming and an interactive teaching style.

ZUMBA with April Dinger & Ron Radaker Ditch the workout and join the party! Classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring!

CORE AND MORE with Susan Slike A one hour class that focuses on the core of your body by incorpo-rating weight resistance with isometric strengthening. You will get a total body workout in a fun, energetic atmosphere. A wide variety of exercise tools are used to keep the class challenging and exciting.

CORE BASICS with Cindy Nave Core Basics is a 45 minute workout which concentrates on strengthening core muscles as well as toning arms and legs through isometric exercise and light weight training. No two classes will be exactly the same as we will incorporate many different exercises and equipment to make the class fun & exciting. This class is for everyone from beginners to the experienced.

INDO-ROW with Duane Schmader Rowing is a healthy, safe full body workout. Burn calories while enjoying a fun, low impact interval workout in a uniquely motivating fitness environment. Newcomers are welcome.

THE GAUNTLET with Duane Schmader Build total-body strength and burn calories. Classes may include barbells, steps, medicine balls, body bars, dumbbells, and body weight. Open to all fitness levels.

Abs Butts and Core (ABC) with Casey Shoup Work on the problem areas and have fun doing it.

PERSONAL TRAINING

PERSONAL TRAINING Get results now. Work one-on-one with a Certified Personal Trainer to get the results you want. Our trainers are profes-

sionally accredited and experienced and knowledgeable. Their knowledge will enhance your ability to reach new levels in your

personal fitness and well-being. This is a great way to add direction, accountability, and unlimited access to fitness advice

and motivation. $28 YMCA Member, $40 non-members per one hour session. *Program design purchased separately.

PERSONAL PROGRAM DESIGN

Have a custom program designed around your goals and fitness level. Our Certified Personal Trainers will assess your

abilities and design an appropriate program to meet your goals. Each program is designed for 4-6 weeks. The program up-

grade is used in the progression of your wellness journey. Cost is per 4-6 week program:

Initial Design: $75 Upgrades: $25 each. *Personal training sessions purchased separately.

FREE SMART START PROGRAM

Smart Start is a program that provides you with the tools and knowledge you need to reach your fitness goals. The program

is customized to your needs and will help you set attainable goals to provide the ongoing support necessary for your

success. In three short meetings, we can take you from an exercise skeptic to a confident individual who is excited about

working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources to help you succeed. This service is available to

for members ages 12 and up within 30 days of joining the YMCA.

WEEKLY WELLNESS CLASSES Classes listed below are free for SilverSneakers and YMCA Members. Classes are $25/month for non-members or $3 to drop-in for non-members.

SilverSneakers Classic (Beginner) Have fun and move to the music through a variety of ex-ercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support. Monday and Wednesday 10:30-11:20 am

Senior on the Ball (Intermediate) For the senior who needs more of a challenge. This class includes a variety of muscular strength and range of movement activities all done while seated on a stability ball. If you prefer, you may sit in a chair rather than on the ball. Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:30-10:20 am

Senior Strength & Stability (Intermediate) This class is designed to increase strength, balance, coordination, agility, endurance, and flexibility. Each class consists of a full body workout with the use of bands, hand weights, medicine balls, and your own body weight for resistance exercises. A stability ball and chair are also available if needed. Each class also includes stretches for increased range of motion and movement exercises for balance and agility. Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 - 9:50 am.

Senior Step Up (Advanced) For the senior who needs a “step above” the Senior on the Ball class. Class includes cardio, strength and flexi-bility training all in a low-impact class. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-9 :00 am

SilverSneakers Yoga Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to in-crease flexibility, balance and range of movement. Re-storative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Fridays 10:30-11:20 am

ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS PROGRAMS

HEALTHY FRIENDS REHABILITATION The YMCA Healthy Friends program is a supervised fitness program available for clients who have sus-tained an injury, illness, cardiac event and require supervised care. This program benefits those who have completed a supervised therapy program and are looking to transition into a gym setting to stay strong and active. Healthy Friends meets 2 days per week for 75 minutes per day. Please register at the YMCA or 814-764-3400.
