MUSIC FESTIVAL

The BYU Young Ambassadors combine contemporary music and dance for a fast-paced showcase of American musical theatre. The team of 20 singers/dancers, 10 live band members, and nine person technical crew will bring to life popular songs from the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Adele, and timeless Broadway musicals.

Each spring, quartets throughout the surrounding area travel to Rexburg to participate in BYU-Idaho’s Barbershop Music Festival. His exhibit connects us with some of the most empowering and ennobling concepts of the human condition, taught in the temple through a familiar story: the creation, expulsion and redemption of Adam and Eve. E Join Mole as he introduces you to his friends; amiable Ratty, wise Badger and infamous Mr. Toad. Together they tell action packed stories of boating on the river, adventuring in the Wild Wood, battling weasels at Toad Hall and a few mishaps with motor cars. This new look at Kenneth Grahame’s classic tale is inventive, captivating, full of heart, and fantastically funny.

It’s Russia at the turn of the 20th century. Early one May morning, the widow Madame Ranevsky returns from a prolonged trip to Paris to face the loss of her ancestral estate after a default on the mortgage. The family home and property, including the expansive cherry orchard, will be sold in August to clear debts unless the family can raise sufficient funds. With humor and humanity, Chekhov’s final play creates a touching meditation on materialism, individual agency, and family responsibility.
