Learning to Pray with Open Hands - Sundays beginning 2/19 | 8:15 a.m. | Leader : Harriet Parker | Oswego Campus Cost: $10 for the bookPrayer - it’s the key to connecting with God. Yet ever y Christian (or most) struggle with prayer at some point in their Christian walk. For five weeks over Lent we will examine prayer using Henri Nouwen’s simple but powerful book With Open Hands as a guide. Nouwen “presents us with a simple statement of the Christian faith: that to live is to pray, that to pray is to love, and that to love is to ser ve.” Join us as we seek to understand, refresh, and revolutionize how we pray.

Semester ClassSemester classes are those which take extra time or greater depth of exploration to cover a par ticular topic. They address a variety of topical areas such as: understanding God’s word, caring for one another, Christian worldview, building a relationship with Christ, perspectives of our fore-fathers/mothers, introduction to Christian beliefs, and right living.

Here and Now...There and Then - Thursdays beginning 1/12 | 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. | Room 146 | Leader: Paula Traviolia | Naperville CampusHere and Now...There and Then is a study on the book of Revelation written by Beth Moore. It is an 11-week study and will run Thursday mornings from January 12 - March 22. Whether you have been studying God’s word for years or are just getting your first taste, you are welcome to join us.

Moms By Faith - Thursdays beginning 1/12 | 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. | Room 149 | Naperville Campus | Cost: $20Faith Enrichment Days. This winter session we will be working through What You Do Best in the Body of Christ: Discover Your Spiritual Gifts, Personal Style, and God-Given Passion and exploring our spiritual gifts and how best to use them. Our first week together will be a Care Group Meet & Greet (all are welcome, pre-registration required). Come and meet the MBF leaders and Care Group leaders as well as other moms for a morning with coffee and good-ies. If you are not already a MBF member, come check the group out! Childcare available for $5 per family; you must register in advance. If you are signed up for FED, the childcare fee is included.

The Navigators New 2:7 Series - Fridays beginning 1/6 | 6 - 7:15 a.m. | Room 149 | Naperville Campus | Led by: John Keefer & Dave DickThis discipleship series will focus on the study and memorization of scripture as well as developing deeper Christian based relationships. Other components will include scripture reading, study, prayer and discussions that help to bring the weekly study alive and applicable to our lives. This is a three-part series. The first part of the series will take nine weeks and then the second and third parts will follow with the completion of each prior series. This is always an open study but it is suggested to start with the first series beginning in January.
