In the aſternoon, there were many ac- vies and shows, drumming, human pyramids, whip- ping, a fire-eater and a bull run. Actually, the bulls were not real, but people in costumes and they made the crowd run away along the way as in the tradional Pam- plona bull run. Conngents had their own stands to tell about their country and to let people taste their local food such as Italian cheese and Hungarian pastry baked on a grill. The Party for Love took place ath the Amfi in the eve- ning. It started with the band playing All My Loving and everybody singing together. Videos on the big screen showed how parcipants had been interviewed about their path experiences, expectaons of Roverway and thoughts about friendship. Roverway Representaves from different countries were dancing on the stage and people in the audience were partying, too. A hugging game made all the Rovers, Rangers and ISTs to hug quickly each other during one song, so that everyone received dozens of hugs. The most spectacular part of evening was the balloons. Everybody wrote a cute message on a paper and put it in a balloon and filled the balloon. The balloons were thrown in the air and they were bouncing over every- body’s hands. When the song ended, everyone picked up the nearest balloon and had the chance to read the message in the balloon. The band connued playing and the crowd danced ll late. Thanks for everybody who did a Loverday random act of kindness by helping in cleaning the area. Friends will be friends. Did you get new friends in Rover- way? I have met a lot of new people in my tribe and anywhere in the camp. I’m going to visit an old friend in Switzerland and I’m planning to meet there also some of the Swiss from my tribe. Janneke Ruen, Holland People are so open here in the camp that you can easily start talking about anything with anybody in the acvies or waing lines. I could meet people of my tribe if I would go to Holland or Switzerland. Janez Košir, Slovenia Our Finnish patrol members are from dif - ferent corners of the country. We did the planning without seeing each others and then we met in Rovaniemi for the Open- ing Ceremony. It is interesng to noce how scoung habits may vary also inside the country. There are people from dif - ferent countries in our tribe and we have had interesng and profound discussions with them in English. Unfortunately we don’t speak any Spanish or Italian. Siiri Kihlström and Riitu Kerola, Finland This is my first me in Europe. We are going to visit Sweden and Denmark right aſter the camp. Roverway is a very free camp compared to our camps that have many details. I have met many new peo- ple in my tribe. Estonians are very nice and everybody else have been nice too. I would like to come back to Europe later and see also Western Europe and South- ern Europe. Yi-Ju Chung, Taiwan Question of the way
