All these way are very effective as all of these Areas creates public attentions as these are places where people visit a lot and are likely to see and notice things. How my film will be distributed The best way to distribute my film would be to be shown in cinemas to enter an international film festival such as Cannes, Toronto, berlin. If it is selected fro these festivals they will provide an invaluable shop window fro the global distribution markets.A film selected for these festivals will be seen by the worlds distributors and if youre lucky they will bid against each other for the right to distribute your film in their respective countries (both theatrically and in the home). In any major film festival showing 200 or more feature films, at least 40% of these will never get distribution in the UK and will not be seen again on a cinema screen in that country. In the UK in 2012 over 600 films were distributed theatrically which means intense competition for screen space. But put that number against how many features are made every year globally and at best 10% of features produced will see the inside of a cinema.

Icould alsoSelf-distribute my film by producing my own marketing materials (posters, trailers, prints etc.), book and pay for my own advertising (depending on my resources this can be a vast expenditure or a single ad on the day of release in a major national newspaper such as The Guardian).http://perseidtx.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Cannes-Film-Festival-poster-3.pngFilmdistributionCinema releaseHome viewingMainstreamcinemasIndependent cinemasBlueray/ DVDTVDownloadingOndemandNetflixLove film ITunes http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/69/Netflix_logo.svg/2000px-Netflix_logo.svg.pnghttp://www.logoeps.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/itunes-logo-vector.pnghttp://i1.cdnds.net/11/38/618_ads_lovefilm_logo.jpg

independent distributionindependent film self distribution has been a viable alternative for years and is now better than ever. For example, with Create Space you can submit your film and all the artwork electronicallycompletely freeand your film will be available for sale as professionallymade DVDs on Amazon.com, where it can also be sold as video on demand. Create Space is part of Amazon.com and absolutely reputable. There are no start-up fees for filmmakers and it is guaranteed and instantaneous distribution. Sure, but when all else fails, Create Space will allow your film to be bought by as many people as are willing to watch it. Depending on how popular your film is, you may even make a good profit!

http://www.tqlkg.com/image-3888941-10826748http://www.jillcflanagan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/createspace.pngThere is nothing intrinsically wrong with cheap mediocre independent films: as long as they are marketed honestly and priced correctly, there is usually at least a small market for that sort of film. Many people enjoy scruffy independent feature films if they are quirky and enjoyable! However, the problem with these films is that they are impossible to distribute profitably via traditional means (cinemas, television). Therefore, our film will not be able to be distributed in a huge budget becausethe movie havent got the quality to stand against big commercial international level movies. Therefore, these types of distribution will be more reliable and profitable. The reason for the lack of economic viability of independent feature films was simply that, no matter how cheaply they were distributed, the costs always exceeded the revenues. How can an independent feature film make a profit if it cannot even find 1000 people willing to spend three dollars for a copy or a screening?

Benefitsof large mainstream companies distributing my filmAs it is a larger company they will have larger budget to work with and will be able to advertise my film in a more creative and different ways. The marketing campaign will be larger, more impressive and possibly more accessible for example, larger companies could afford to have trailers places in the advert break of a well watched show or well known magazine. By thins way more people will get to know about our film as they are using the most number of ways to attract audience to watch the film.Large, mainstream companies are more likely to take risks than independent companies as they have other successful film that can cover the costs of a less successful films. Independent companies however may not been as keep to take such as risk. Moreover, people are likely to watch a low budget film if a mainstream well known company such as warner brothers is linked to it because it will make them thing as if they have to distribute a small film, it should be something good.http://leahhiltonasmedia.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/film-companies1.jpg
