2 Degrees of adjectives There are three degrees : -Positive: The car is fast. (no comparison here)

Comparative: My car is faster than yours.(for comparing two nouns ) -Superlative: My car is the fastest of all (for comparing three or more nouns)

-Add the suffix er to one-syllable adjectivesExamples: tall taller low lower smart smarter

Add the suffix er to two -syllable adjectives ending with y. But first drop the y, change it to i and then add er . Examples: busy busier angry angrier easy easier -Comparative degree
